She waved to the worried man in the alley and continued walking,gradually slowing down as the approached the Slums' entrance.
"What do you feel like doing?"
She looked around and grinned.

"Bad idea Achi." Xenia swore under her breath and veered down an alleyway,that twisted like a maze.
"We're being followed...." She motioned to Achi to follow as she dashed up a flight of stairs and onto the roof.

Kronos kept a few feet behind the two,his keen eyes watching them. They had escaped to the roofs,but he would follow. It was time for the confrontation.
Unfurling his wings he launched himself onto the roof with just a few flaps.
"Where do you think your going?"

Achi pulls out 'his' small portable mirror to peer behind them. "I don't recognize 'im" 'he' mumbles "someone you crossed?" Achi slowly pulls out 'his' gun hidden under 'his' cape. "I can use a smoke bullet. We can get away, without leaving a mess in my front yard." Achi says jokingly.

Xenia squinted as she turned to stare at him. The black wings were sucking up the sun around them; no doubt a demon..
"I've never seen him in my life."
She shrugged and turned away.

"I am Kronos,The Observer. I've come for you,Descendant of Xenos."
He stared at their backs,coldly.
That demon is awfully mellow...and whats with the human?
He grunted and continued glaring,shaking off his thoughts.

Achi drops her goggles over her eyes "this is a new model, Xenia, I don't know if it'll hurt your eyes!" Achi shot the pistol directly towards the stranger. "look out angel!" As Green Smoke filled the entire alley and streamed into the main streets Achi ran up the stairs.

Xenia jumped off the roof,and landed on a crate.
She jumped down and ran towards Achi,grabbing his wrist as she dashed down onto the main street. She ducked into an alleyway,hidden from the roofs.
"You okay?"

Achi coughs several times. "yeah...maybe i should talk to the doc. about this, i can't afford a gas mask!" Achi looks around. "I've never seen an angel before, what are you gona do about 'im?"

Kronos' eye twitched as he stared after the fleeing backs of the two. He would track them down later of course. He hopped off the roof and began walking down the street. He looked around; the surroundings were dull and filthy. No doubt he had followed them all the way to the slums.
He stopped at a large dark building,and entered the single door. He was greeted by a man in a top hat.
"Did you get them?" The man chuckled.
"No!" Kronos growled and collapsed on the couch,like a sulky child.

"Im gona find out who has the nerve to pick a fight with us! With you!" Achi began to stand up, when she collapsed. "...my leg..." Achi lifted the back of her cape to reveal a badly wounded leg.

Xenia bent over and slung Achi onto her back,piggy back style. She smirked and began to walk out of the alley,whistling as she went.
"Shall we go see Doc?"
Today was becoming interesting.

"NOOOO! Last time i got hurt, he said he would fix it, but he ended up experimenting on me!" Achi wails her arms around in protest. "He invents! Not heals!" But they both knew he was just a good doctor as inventor.
