Question, Can I use Craft metalworking or Craft blacksmithing in place of Craft weapon smith and/or armor smith? I understand the checks would revolve around metal items only and it would be almost useless in a dungeon run, but it tie into a back story I am working on.
Also, How do you want to do hp? Max first level or do we have to roll it out?

Blacksmithing as a craft allows the making of... well... basic tools and horseshoes and what not. You could possibly make low quality weapons maybe.

Just one more question before I finish my character. You said monsterous races are allowed and then said that they get an advantage, Quote: such as a kobold being able to survive on the raw flesh of his enemies. . Where do you get that info on, what the advantages of the monster races are?

I remember reading that in races of the Dragon. That and they eat a 1/3 normal in a warm enviroment and 3 times more in cold.

Fighter, in progress. Being alot of the races, I want to play, don't have stats. I will ask about the Hobgoblin. What are the Hobgoblin's special advantage? And you didn't answer my other question. Hp, How do you want us to deal with it?

HP is max. Sorry.
Onesec while I look at the Hobbos...
Well, let's see, being a goblinoid, he has a higher tolerance for fungus. He can eat some fungi that would be sickening to standard races.
However, it should be noted that a hobgoblin's range of food isn't as good as a goblins and all monstrous races will be treated with some... 'hostility' by any NPC adventurer at first. Racism and all.
I don't want anyone to not play a monstrous race cause of the downsides though, play what you want. And if you are a monstrous race, well, give me a good backstory, cause I like to see the reasons they actually go do adventuring.

I never allowed downsides to rule out who I play. I think they add more to the character, than the upsides.
My only problem is there arn't a lot of monster races in the Pathfinder srd with character stats to play with.
But, Hobgoblin is good enough for me.

That's where I come in. *nod nod* I poke about and see what I can do to make a race playable. Of course, some races are just outright 'no'.

I will have to think on that. The one race I wanted to play was a Lizardfolk. In the unlikely event that 3 other people get there character sheet in and we start playing before I settle on an idea. Here is a old character that has been revamped for the game. I would just have to write a backstory and done. Name: Alexander Palpiton Speed: 30 ft. (20 ft.) Race: Human Height: 5'1" Class: Sorcerer 1 Weight: 132 lb. Alignment: Neutral Good Age: 16
Str: 10 +0 HP: 10 Dex: 14 +2 AC: 12 T: 12 FF: 10 Con: 12 +1 Init +2 Int: 14 +2 B.A.B. +0 Wis: 14 +2 CMB: 0 CmD: 12 Cha: 18 +4 F+0 R+2 W+4
Feats: Skills: (ranks+mod+misc) Two weapon fighting Bluff +5 (1+4) Weapon Finesse Intimidate +5 (1+4) Spellcraft +3 (1+2) Use Magic Device +5 (1+4) Class Abilities: Languages: Bloodline power: Arcane Common Cantrips Draconic Eschew Materials Aklo
