Just look at the sign the wizard had on his parking space.
"This spot belongs to the wizard. Violators will be toad."

Was there a rock or something near it? Because if the wizard had 2 dig her up from identical bushes, he would have 2 no which 1 it was.

I suspect all three were blooming. Iffin yer going to force someone into the shape of a rose bush, ye probably want it blooming as well.

nope... if this wasn't such a good riddle I'd be pulling my hair out by now... but it is... let's figure out what we do know, okay?
1. all three bushes are alike 2. one bush becomes a woman at night 3. when her husband comes to rescue her he finds everything identical, except for one small matter... a matter so trivial he almost over looks it 4. it is the only thing different between the bushes.
now as for stuff we've eliminated
a. it is something to do with the bush itself b. not the ground around it c. not how it is planted or tended d. and not how the bush is formed - all three bushes are identical except for this small detail.

Fox is very happy... her guild has some very smart people in it. Yes, that is exactly the solution to his dilema. His wife had spent the night indoors and thus had no dew on her, unlike the others which spent the night outside. 3nodding
