Oooh, yeah, glad I'm taking my 5% chance with DHL then. Also, is it the same as other international packages, anyone at the address can sign for you , just as long as they get a signature, or does it have to be the person who's name is on the order?

That should be the case, yes. I don't know for certain, however. The last time I ordered from Bodyline, I was living alone so I was the only one who COULD sign for it. XD;;

OH MAN!!! > 3 < I want it to be Tuesday... I want those boots! Shoes... *drool* Misread it, it's getting sent to DHL tuesday, already in HongKong though, so it'll be here soon. Question though, I've looked around on Etsy, Ebay, Strapya, and other places for polymer clay food charms like this: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3244/2661855777_cf1b652408.jpghttp://www.cdhm.org/tutorials/images/making-a-miniature-cake.jpg http://www.craftycrafty.tv/chocolatecake.jpgWithout paying 8$ and up for individual charms. Basically, is there a Bodyline for cupcake charms?

Thanks guys!
Okay, so Magical Girl Yossy, here's your shoe fitting update.
I ordered the green shoes in 25.5 and the boots in 26.0 The boots are about 9 1/2 and the shoes are about a 9 but feel like 10's because of the toe space, but that's just the design, they fit like 9's everywhere else, which isn't too bad since I'm an 8 or 8 1/2. When I step on paper and trace my foot, it's 25 cm long. Next time I order shoes from Bodyline I think I'll order them in 24.5. Like spuntino says, they add extra room. They're not terribly uncomfortable, in fact very comfy for shoes that are a bit large, and stable. I am going to take her advice and add some insoles to the boots and I'll cut and shape some custom insoles for the toes of the shoes. Long story short, I'd measure and go with that or a half cm smaller. smile
The stuff I ordered is amazing, I'm very pleased with the feel of the materials of the clothes. The box the stuff arrived in looked like someone had ripped it open and stolen some stuff, but everything inside was in perfect condition and in cute little bags. No shoebox, but I don't think one was necessary. The boots are a bit squeaky, but that's imitation leather for you. They look beautiful, I can always break them out of the new sound. I'll post some pictures soon in the lolita album thread.

Oh wow, that's great! Thank you for sharing those tips with me (and everyone else, too), but more than anything CONGRATS on your first lolita purchase!! 4laugh
As for charms, I TOTALLY HAVE AN ANSWER FOR YOU. DEKODEN. The name of the site is derived from 'decoden,' a popular thing right now that is short for 'decorate' and 'denwa' (which means "phone"). Examples of decoden.
So basically the Dekoden site is a retailer for all that shiny stuff to decorate stuff with. There are charms and pendants and tools and findings and swrovski crystals and
dude like everything

Thanks! I've gotten lolita from sewers (SO-ers, not sewers, lol) at conventions, hobby shops, and made a few things myself here or there, but I've never bought anything that was "brand" (if bodyline counts as burando. it does to me smile ) and I've certainly never bought anything lolita online before. I used to look around etsy and sites like that because I didn't know about the others, but they were too pricey ^_^; I think Bodyline was a really good choice for me.
I'll check that site out now, thankyou!

It is a fast and slippery slope into brandwhoredom for you! ... or something.
Seriously, the easier the site is to buy from, the more likely you end up being to buy. Baby and Meta are both a breeze, Bodyline's is painfully slow to load, but easily used, and my one attempt to buy from AP's English site terminated mighty fast due to all the extra complications they built in. @_@;
I'm really wanting to buy something from IW right now, but. I will wait. I bought a new dress already this week, and another will be on the way soon. XD;;

So, now I'm completely obsessed with e-shopping... O__o I ordered these from Bodyline today. http://www.bodyline.co.jp/bodyline/showProduct.asp?id=3074&pageNumber=1&pageStop=stop_4&noSubType=Nhttp://www.bodyline.co.jp/bodyline/showProduct.asp?id=1549&pageNumber=1&pageStop=stop_10&noSubType=NI know the yukata has shiny ribbon and seems cosplayish, but I think it's an amazing design and it's nothing like anything I've worn before, so I'm really excited about the style. Besides, ribbon can always be swapped out, and if I completely hate it, I'll just use the pattern to sew a new one. Besides, the blouse I ordered before (listed in first post) had 1/2 good lace and 1/2 bad lace. (the skinny strips of lace down the front and the lace around the bow in the back) It turns synthetic purple in natural sunlight while the rest of the lace stays true off-white, so I just seam-ripped that lace out and the blouse looks great. Sometimes you gotta do a little altering, brand or not. I'd like to order some stuff from BBTSSB, but I'm still a little wary that I'll screw up an online order, so I'll wait till I know for sure what I'm doing as far as measurements go. (I've ordered brand through ordering shops/shopping services at convention before and had to send it back cause I've got "American tits" and couldn't button them. sad Anyway, if I can figure it out, this is what I'm looking forward to. http://www.babyssb.co.jp/shopping/jumper/133247.htmlin brown http://www.babyssb.co.jp/shopping/jumper/133289/index.htmlin dark gray http://www.babyssb.co.jp/shopping/skirt/133606/index.htmlin white and black http://www.babyssb.co.jp/shopping/head/134934/index.htmlpink gold http://www.babyssb.co.jp/shopping/acce/133090/index.htmlhttp://www.babyssb.co.jp/shopping/shoes/133985.htmlblack http://www.babyssb.co.jp/shopping/and/133807.htmloff white I also wanted this http://www.babyssb.co.jp/shopping/acce/133857.htmlbut instead ordered this http://cgi.ebay.com/Sparrow-Blue-Bird-Cage-Vintage-Silver-Pendant-Necklace_W0QQitemZ370321020437QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item5638da5615 and fiance gave me this http://www.dillards.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=301&storeId=301&langId=-1&productId=501602874for christmas although I think I still want the baby one... Anything I should know before ordering from Baby?

Also, I've heard mention of food items, contacts, and the like being called in by customs, but usually clothing goes by just fine. What about the umbrella though, could that raise an eyebrow? I dunno, could customs see it as a weapon or whatnot?
