I try my best to retain good manners always...
I show courtesy to others by being polite
and holding doors open for them, et cetera.
I rarely swear, and I'm too much of a wuss
to call someone out on anything...
Am I... in the minority here?

I don't know whether you're the minority or not, but your actions and demeanor are certainly quite lovely and good attributes to have. I try not to swear in public...I always open doors for people. I am curteous and polite most of the time, probably not as much as you, but I try... I call people out on things, but I pick my battles. Kittywitch I am demure most of the time, whether I like it or not. This is somewhat surprising when I'm not in lolita. A small and delicate punk is still a punk, and while they're very often very civic minded and all about what's right and wrong, one acting like a lolita is slightly shocking. I'm actually trying to stand up for myself a little more. Politely doing so is a bit of a challenge. You must make an adorable punk too! Standing up for yourself is important, but you can do so in a ladylike fashion. Keep an even stern tone and elevate your speech (Use big words.). "Stop spreading rumors about me!" Becomes: "Please do not fabricate stories about my personage." or something like that. Being cold, stern, and ladylike is what makes it work. vampiredroid I try to always be polite and elegant and I deffinately do not get in fights or do strenuous(did I spell that right XD) labor. The only time I might not act completely lady like is when I'm stuck in a huge crowd of people in the city or Disneyland or at school in the halls and people just wont move, then I start pushing and yelling and occasionally a slap or two is thrown X) I get quite irritated, when crowds just stop for no reason especially in school hallways. Another thing along he same lines that I have just recently come across and that irk me even more is when I am on an escalator and the people in front of me have just gotten off, but stand at the bottom of the escalator for no apparent reason. Consequently, I cannot get off and have run out of stairs. I usually just tap them on the heels with my cane. I do a little strenuous labor, but I haven't done as much since my shoulder injury. I just help make the pottery and help sell it now. I'm less involved with tent setup.

I dress in lolita almost daily.
When I don't I dress like a sloppy scholarly man.
I love shopping and my New Years Resolution is to learn to sew and make my own clothes and such things.
I also really love video games and swear a ton. But not more than most high school kids, I think.
So I would have to say I'm half and half.
Lady and Sloppy Man. Kinda unlolita. xD

I'm a photography major, and though I can wear lolita to photography or assistant jobs, it's not practical, or professional, unless I'm the model.
I'm polite and nice, but I wouldn't call it lady like 24/7. I'm still me, in lolita, or street clothes.
I did judo for a while, then switched to karate, neither of which I do anymore.
Oh man I've been dying to ask this question, I know a lot of us aren't the healthiest of eaters, or the smallest of people. I've been dieing to go to the gym and start working out... but I REALLY want to get a lolita-esque gym outfit, but maybe that's an oxymoron. Any ideas?

I'm so glad someone came up with this thread! I thought I was the only unladylike like lolita on here!
I manage to keep mostly ladylike, but I do have habits that are considered unladylike much like those that have admitted before me. I too drop the F-bomb repeatedly while playing video games and can belch like a man. lol sweatdrop
