Strangely, even with all of this other stuff that I have to get done, I don't feel nearly as stressed.

I can imagine. You fretted over that paper for the longest time.
Finals never really bothered me that much in college (except for the math ones. Yuck! xp ). By the time finals rolled around, I pretty much knew the material, so it was just a matter of reviewing. But when I wasn't studying, I made it a tradition to read a spy novel every semester during finals week. It actually helped keep the stress level down when I was taking study breaks. mrgreen

I think you had your peak moment of stress. Once you hit that, it's the worst of it!

I'm also feeling better now that I've gotten some of my assignments backs. I'm doing better on them than I thought. Alvinette, do you have anything left to do this semester?

I completely blew my Spanish oral exam this morning. I had everything planned out, and I felt confident. But when I got in there, I forgot what I was going to say, and I forgot how to conjugate the verbs. xp I'm pretty sure I got a D or an F. xp

I'm sorry, chibi. I think if I had been forced to give oral examinations for Spanish or Italian, I'd have failed, too. Too much pressure. Stage fright, and the like.

I had forgotten that I had already had my rant about my oral exam here! eek I must be losing my mind or something. I'm definitely not getting enough sleep. But the odd thing is, I've never had stage fright; however, I always get really nervous when I'm giving a presentation. confused

Same here. Because my presentations are all me, not just a recitation of someone else's writing.

My grades have just been posted, and I got an "A" my seminar class! eek whee heart I don't have a clue how it's possible! I was expecting a "C" or at best a "B." But now that I think about it, the only grades I got back were A's and high B's. There was one assignment that I made a 60 on that I did a make-up assignment to replace, but I never got the grade back. And I was positive that my seminar paper was poorly written! I worked my butt off, but I still didn't think my work was up to par. My professor must have been generous in the grading, or perhaps the grades were scaled or something. But I wasn't expecting this! I almost feel guilty for getting such a good grade in the class. sweatdrop I guess I'm my own toughest critic.
As a side note, I made an "A" in Spanish, another "A" in medieval, and somehow I only got a "B" in my Jane Austen class. Of all classes to make less than perfect in, it would have to be one of my favorites. sweatdrop
