So Tam decides to do a bit of auto-writing with Kero's pen. Concentrating on the paper, he begins to write...
"You are in so much trouble..."

*Kero doesn't even see it...he moves on in his calculations...Tam finally realizes he has paper spread all around him, and is working with a separate pen on each one*

With a mental curse, Tam begins to write the same message on all the papers, one after the other, knowing he'll see it eventually. He tries to identify the order in which Kero is working so he doesn't have to write on all of them/

*When Kero does see it, he jumps...high...very high....even Tam is slightly impressed...he looks...and a hole opens in the bubble, allowing the angel inside*

The angel walks inside and shakes his head. "One question only... if a child can pick up the sword, even though he cannot weild it... do you send him to war?"

Tam nods. "He is trained, correct? By a master, so he can wield the weapon properly, else he is a danger, not only to himself, but to others as well... people who may depend on him. You can pick the weapon up, it comes easy to your hands, but Kero... you have not yet been trained. You know, full well... the folly of attempting magics before you are fully capable of wielding them properly. Voidic magic needs a level of maturity or it will consume it's user. This is why your past life was shielded away from you... to prevent you from attempting what you are doing before you were old enough and mature enough to handle it properly."

*Kero nods, shamefaced*
I take it I'm in so much trouble, I'm going to be that way until my next rejuvenation?

Tam nods grimly. "It has always been my duty to keep you safe. To raise you well and all that that implies. That I have come to love you as though you were a part of me was just an added bonus, a blessing. I am honor bound to see to it that you go no further in this. Both to the one who set me to this task... and to you. More importantly to you, Kero. If I allow you to continue on this path, before you are armed and armored, I would be doing you a grave injustice."

Tam sighs. "I think a more stronger punishment is in order here. One that I can enforce right here, right now." He waves a hand and all of Kero's papers fly to him. He places them into one of his airy pockets and then turns to face Kero with one of the saddest expressions Kero has ever seen him wear.
"From this day forward, you are forbidden to touch voidic magic until you can prove to me you have reached the proper level of maturity to do so. " he says in a voice that sounds like a death toll in Kero's thoughts... each word setting an odd glowing sort of lock upon his memories and abilities.
"As I have sealed it away with a touch of the divine, I fear you may have trouble breaking that barrier. Forgive me... I had hoped to allow you a bit of freedom here, but it is becoming crystalline clear to me that you will find a loop hole when and wherever you can. Feel free to try... if you wish... not all magic has been denied you... only that which will harm you... And, Kero, before you think to lay the blame for this on me.... think hard... you have only brought it on yourself."

*Kero's eyes flare gray...and Tam finds himself flung out of Kero's mind...the center, at least...the bubble seals around him....and a bubble of molten glass it is....Tam realizes he made one crucial error in that...never, ever, ever anger an Empath when you are within his mind...because a hole opens up beneath him, and the bubble shoves him in, deep into Kero's subconscious mind*

He hovers amidst the chaos and sighs. He knew it would anger his young charge, but he also knew that Kero was treading on a dangerous path. Voidic magic did consume the unwary and many a void mage fell to it. Skill wasn't the issue here. It was the all consuming hunger the magic instilled in it's users.
He looks around to get his bearings and found himself in the middle of....

*Nowhere...everywhere...Kero's subconscious is a chaotic melange of various shades of black...and Tam soon finds himself confronted...by a teenage human....brown eyed, with silver hair, and pointed ears*
So....got yourself thrown down here, did you? Be grateful that's all that happened....had it been up to me, father or not, you'd have paid for that...
*A Golden dragon appears before them*
Calm yourself, number VII...Talesian is not a threat. He made an incredibly stupid move, but he is not a threat to us.

Tam hovers there and sighs. "Stupid, maybe... but think on this... had I allowed him to work unhindered... ere he was capable of handling it, what would the consequences have been? I did not deny him the magic... only blocked it until he was capable of dealing with it. Anger aside... pray tell... what would you have done?"
