im not in marching band this year (next year hopefully!) but we just have a green shirt w/ our school name on it. well, not a t-shirt but....its a different material...

Here's a poem that was inspired by the sight of our new band uniforms!
Band Uniforms
Snazzy. Proud. That
is what the band
uniforms show. But
they only show that
when the person
wearing them feels
like it.
Classy. Original. Our
uniforms are like
that and more.
We have to wear
them, so we moan and
complain. But deep down
inside, we know we
love them.
We are made fun of because
we are different, and that
we don't do much.
But we have fun doing
what we love,
and what we love
is marching on
the field and playing
our music.
We march on the field
strong, snazzy, proud, and
classy. And all that emotion
goes into our music, and
you just can't help but to
cheer for us.
We are cheerleaders in
our own way. Instead
of wearing skimpy uniforms
and yelling our head off,
we sit in the stands and
play our music to encourage
the team.
And yet, after all of that,
you still make fun of us,
because you know that
we are the same, and
that we do just as well
cheering the team on
as you do.
So why are band uniforms
so important to us?
They make us feel special,
accepted. In a place of
mind that we feel happy.
Classy. Strong. Snazzy. Proud. Original.
Our band uniforms are that,
and more.
We are Halifax Pride on the
March Marching Band. Hear
us roar, and we'll be
happy to just be accepted.

Ever seen The Cadets? (They're maroon and white)
Our uniforms were based off of those.
Instead of the yellow cummerbund and white sash, we just have a gold sash.

yes, British military uniform. hint: Avon Park. our crappy little town actually has a history. O.o anyway, art of the AP Sax Squad (in uniform) with the Nuggets (middle school [in ms uniform])

It kind makes us stand out because most of the schools in our area have red white or blue in their school colors.crestview -red&white
pace - red,white&blue
washington - blue&white
fortwaltonbeach - red,white&blue
jay - blue&white
pineforest - blue &whiteWhile we're just black and gold.  haha we're black and gold too!! we wear all black uniforms with a gold and white sash on the jacket and gauntlets. grr i hate the gauntlets but the uniform is wicked cool looking.

Took me FOREVER to find a picture of a non-percussionist, so you could actually see the uniform.
[For a lady whose daughter is a trumpet player, she's oddly biased towards taking percussion pictures]

there's our majorette, drum major, and colorguard uniforms.  these are the main uniforms. there's a maroon 'W' on the sash. we also have new plumes that are white feathers, will gold in them. smile also LOL ignore the crazy marching there, wow.

our uniforms are maroon. the drum major are black the colorgaurd is puple with pink and gold  this is me  this is my shaiko
