I play D&D on a regular basis now, sometimes 3 times a week. Can't get much more geeky than that!

@ Alivinette: Those are all good movies. Do you like Psycho? That's a classic. And did you see Disturbia? That was just like Rear Window.
I like old movies. smile
@ Nebbie: I wish I had someone to play D&D with. I have a poor half-elf cleric that has nowhere to go. sad

I saw Rear Window and I really enjoyed it. Back when we were still at the same college, Alvinette got me to watch North by Northwest in her dorm room one night. That night, I dreamt about spies chasing me. xd

lilchibiusa I saw Rear Window and I really enjoyed it. Back when we were still at the same college, Alvinette got me to watch North by Northwest in her dorm room one night. That night, I dreamt about spies chasing me. xd You're welcome, Chibi. twisted @Green: I've never seen Psycho. I'm actually too chicken to watch it, since I don't like scary movies. I scare REALLY easily. I've heard about Disturbia, but I haven't gotten to see it.

I thought Disturbia wasn't as good as Rear Window. In fact, I was downright bored with the hot neighbor next door plot. xp
Psycho isn't too scary. Just remember when you watch the famous shower scene, that Alfred Hitchcock mimicked the sounds by stabbing a melon. xd Then it's not scary!

And wasn't the blood chocolate syrup? The things you can get away with, special-effects-wise, when you film in black and white! blaugh

Black and white films were the best.

Yep. Especially the film noir from the '40s and '50s. Although I thought it was really cool that Hitchcock filmed Rear Window in color but still managed to give it that "film noir" feel.

I play several characters. My main character that I play weekly is a human warlord (lv 10) from Eberron, this hugely tall farm girl who was in the war and since then worked on the lightning rail and left that job to save the world. That campaign is full of aberrations and is quite serious in nature, but we've really gotten into the role-playing lately. On the other end of the spectrum, I have a young shifter druid (lv 4), also from Eberron, that often takes the form of an otter since he grew up by the sea. He is a pirate and this campaign is quite amusing and we have such a fun time role-playing. It's would really work as an anime! Sadly, this campaign happens rarely. I have two Living Forgotten Realms characters. One is a half-elven fighter (lv 3) and she's one of my first characters. She likes bashing things and shiny things. The other is a gnomish bard (lv 4) who's based on Gabrielle from Xena. I play either of these characters every other weekend or so. I'm just starting a new character this week. A Rakshasa warden. Rakshasa's are usually evil but there was an implication that one of the new races, devas, are linked in a karmic cycle and if they are bad can turn into rakshasas, so I'm going to try to play a character that is mostly good again and working to being reborn next life as a deva.
......that's not counting the campaigns that are defunct. I play a lot of D&D. ^^;;

That sounds like a lot of fun! xd I just got inducted into Sigma Tau Delta tonight. (It's an English Honor Society.) Some of my friends and fellow inductees started singing Numa Numa with one of my professors. rofl
