She looked at the two creatures, and saw compassion and understanding. She laid back down. I would like that, very much, she said through telepathy as she laid her wing out for the centaur. I must ask, what kind of dragon are you, she aksed the blue dragon.

Embala picked the herbs growing around her feet and spilled some of her water into a bowl and began crushing the herbs with a special rock from her saddle pack. (minus the saddle part.) 'I'm a sky dragon." Kasumi said cheerfully. "My name is Kasumi and Embala is treating you're wound." Embala slathered the prepared paste onto the injured wing.
((embala often camps out in the forest so carry's a day's supply of stuff on her back), just like in the picture. ^_^)

Paradisity winced at the stinging of the herbs, but it wasn't too bad, almost refreshing and bracing. A sky dragon, intruiging, she said. It's nice to meet the two of you. And thank you for wanting to fix my wing. I live up in the far north. It would take possibly weeks to walk there. I'm a star dragon myself, she said thankfully.

"wow. My mother told me stories about Star Dragons. Can you really create and rearange stars?" Kasumi asked a little awestruck. Embala steped back when she had finished. "I have nothing that can bind you're wounds as you are too large, but they should be fine without it." She said formally. "If all goes well You should be able to fly again tomorrow morning." Kasumi could see the paste already hardening and was glad that gicky stuff wasn't on her wings.

Oh how wonderful, Paradisity said as she stood up. She folded back her other wing, and carefully folded the other slightly so it wouldn't be in the way. I thank you for assissting me. It has been so long since I've met a creature capable of civil conversation. Not many beings like your kind up where I live, she said kindly. Stories huh, she asked. I've never heard stories of my kind, possibly because I haven't seen another of my kind since I fled fourteen years ago, but yes, it is true. I am capable of space travel to rearrange the stars when necessary, she said. To demonstrate, she brought her tail to the center of the conversation. She revolved her tail, and made a star for each of them. Not many know of our other powers. Some of us control the air and winds, others the fire and earth, some water, but I control all four of the elements. But I do hope these will show my gratitude and further extend my asking for friendship, she said hopefully.

Embala placed her fist over her heart and bowed. "I thank you, Lady Dragon, but your gratitude is more then enough to satisfy me." She found it difficult to understand the gift, no-one could own a star, so how could one be gifted? Kasumi watched it, it's light reflecting in her amber eyes. She blinked and looked up at the great Star Dragon. "I have an affinity for water, but I can't do anything with it yet." She looked back at the star. "My mother didn't talk much about Star Dragon's but there are peices of legends and other stories that have survived. Not many have ever seen one of your kind." Kasumi said without thinking. "Then again..." she paused as if in thought, "Not many have see my kind either. Mother say's our small colony is the last of the Sky Dragons."

Well I would imagine since the humans betrayed our race, we scattered and were separated until we were forgotten. We, ourselves, have lived in peace, but there's an entire race that doesn't know we exsist. I should think that you hope you would find another colony to combine with your own, just as I wish I could find my parents, or at least another star dragon, she sighed at the thought. Since I got separated from them fourteen years ago, I have put, she stopped to count...about 5,110 new stars in the sky. It helps me keep track of how long its been, and maybe others would see them. She stopped to think about how lonely she had been all this time. She had forgotten what it was like to talk like this. She was only one when she got separated. She wanted to stay with them, be part of a family, but that was rediculous, she couldn't impose like that. They wouldn't want her. She looked to Embala and saw a confused look on her face. How about something more materialistic? Perhaps a flower out of stone, one that would never die, she insisted. A sense for water you say? Perhaps I could teach you. How old are you Kasumi, Paradisity asked quizically.

She had dozed off for a bit while she let her fur dry. She stood up and shook herself off and her fur returned to it's natural, silky state. It was early afternoon, just the right time for her favorite meals to come out and scavenge. She had a very thin silhouette besides her wings and tail, and live prey was just the thing to help her stay trim, and keep her at the peak of her speed and precision.

"I really do hope we could find another colony. Wouldn't that be great. I can just imagine it, the cliffs filled with caves and blue dragons comming and going." she daydreamed. When The dragon started to talk about her affinity she snapped back to attention. "I am 18 summer's." Kasumi stated proudly. She'd love to be taught some water magic. Embala smiled, "I need nothing that the forest cannot provide." she stated, trying not to be rude. "If you wish to thank me, I accept honest words. If you feel indebted to me, then I release you of that debt. Healing is given freely in this forest, to what ever creature needs it."

Well I thank you for your kind generosity. But please do keep the star as a token of my gratitude, Paradisity said as she bowed to Embala. She returned her attention to Kasumi. Eighteen summers, I'm only 15 myself, but in our species we usually discover our talents at least before the age of twenty. I believe you might be able to still learn from the water, if your sense is strong enough. I'd be willing to teach you if you like, she said.

"I would be greatful if you could teach me." Kasumi said eagerly. "I accept it." Embala said stiffly. Her kind rarely gave gifts and she didn't know how to recieve it properly. "You're kind grow quickly." she commented on her huge height. She towered over Kasumi who was as big as a small house.

Oh, well, I wouldn't know, she said, looking down at the both of them. Now that she thought of it, she did tower over Kasumi. She hadn't realized how much larger she was, and her wings were massive compared to hers as well. I haven't seen my parents, let alone another of my kind to compare in such a long time. It's been since then that I haven't seen another dragon at that. But I do suppose I am rather large compared to you, I may be able to consume you in my wings. But no matter, size does not matter in the sense that the heart is what does, Paradisity said, trying not to make things about herself. Now, I do not garuntee you will be able to control the water, taking into account the kind of dragon that you are, but I will try to teach you everything I know. If worse comes to worse, I can teach you how to control the air and winds, unless you can already do that, she said, trying not to make her slight doubt noticable. She lifted up her head, and stood on her hind legs. Now, is there a body of water so as to begin the lessons, she asked. She did not see one, but she assumed they knew where one was, seeing as how they lived here.

"There is a lake by my village that you would be welcome to use." Embala volunteered. "Follow me." "Oh, yes, that lake would be perfect. If we're going to the village, do you think Mia will give me some of those veal cakes she was cooking last night?" Kasumi chattered to Embala as they led the way to the lake on foot, winding through the trees.

Oh perfect, Paradisity said as she followed them. But then she paused. Village, she asked nervously. She was overwhelmed to have met the two of them, but to go through a village. She was almost afraid that the village might not except her, but she was only passing through.
