I guess I didn't technically drop out, but I did do homeschool for semester in 11th grade and then for the whole 12th grade.

We(family) had a lot of different issues. Like you, lots of days were missed. CPS was called a lot. Threats to be put in Foster Care were made. But they weren't really concerned what was wrong. They just wanted us in a desk. I'm not great with sharing. I've actually deleted a lot of what I originally typed. Anyways, I'll make it short and simple. Guys are buttheads. Buttheads and alcohol don't end well. And drugs make for a trifecta of evilness. And packing is easier than unpacking. My sister and I have probably been to more schools than a military brat. Not even joking. By the time we actually found a safe place, mum was disabled and and we all have serious mental trauma. Even if mum could get out of bed some days--by the way, no school bus ran by where we lived. At least, not for the high school. They had one for the elementary, but I'm not sure what good that would have done us.-- there was a high chance that being around people wasn't the greatest idea. But yeah, missed a lot of school. Heck, sometimes I'd have to miss school to take care of my sister because my mum wasn't able to walk. My sister has Type 1 Diabetes. So, she was born with it. But it decide to activate till she was seven. Even worse, her Diabetes is extremely(extremely) difficult to deal with. Hospitals even have to get lucky to stabilize her Blood Glucose.

Anyways, I'll be getting my GED soon, then heading off to college. I'm happy to say I'm doing a little bit better. I mean, yelling at me is one the the worst things you could do to me. Even happy yelling.

Oh yeah, forgot to say, all my credits earned during homeschooling are apparently like Monopoly money. You can't use 'em for anything real. Good luck to you on your GED!
