Kairi grinned, but inside she felt dead. She hasn't seen Kaoru in forever and it was starting to take a toll on her.

guessing where kairi's thoughts were probably wandering, sora walked over to her, "don't worry, i'm sure he'll be back soon," sora said quietly, giving her friend a comforting hug.
