I only got a part of french running through these veins. And vampires are fun and all but I've yet to see one as awesome as Dracula. I mean, back then vampires turned into werewolves, bats, etc., and they burned at the touch of holy relics. Sparkly vampires and modern ones aren't cutting it for me. I mean sure in the nineties they sort of had that sexy look where vampires chicks had a filled out figure and was leather-clad. That was alright. But now...THEY SPARKLE!?!? They want to be good guys!?!? They want to be famous!?!? Come on! I remember when they lived in castles and sucked the blood out of their necks.

Ok just for clarification for everyone, Twilight the movie was crap in a hat, the book was so much better.
Hopefully the next one will be better cuz of the money they made off the first movie.

I would say I don't Twilight, but I only read just a bit of the first one. Didn't catch my attention, though. But hear there's a girl that's stuck as a 7-8 year old(?) and the Were-wolf is in love with her.
Seems kind of creepy to me. =S But nothing against it, just not my thing.
I loved Interview with a Vampire. I didn't know there was a book of it. Probably wouldn't have read it, anyways. I was more into Goosebumps when I was little. ~___^
Anyways, I'm more into Hellsing, as far as my Vampires go. Or 30 Days of Night. <___<
I heard this one kid got acid thrown on his face and stabbed with a Math compass because he said he didn't like the book. O_o

I get why a lot of women like the book. They're insecure and feel like their significant other is only in it for the sex or whatever, and Edward's "love" for Bella doesn't revolve around sex. So imo it's like any other lame romance novel: basically emotional porn.
The story is still s**t, though.
I'm not all that into vampires. I've never read (or heard about) a vampire story that interested me. And before you all start gushing about Anne Rice, no thank you. From what I've seen, she's pretty much Stephanie Meyers but with some writing skills. Sure, she can put together a coherent sentence, but that doesn't make the story any better.

i've read twilight once.. actually i've finished it. sweatdrop but the movie.. uhm. it sucks. stare
dracula is so cool love the book! heart
well.. i knew Anne Rice's series but never read it.. crying
i'm having a hard time to buy books lately. confused

But I lol'd when I saw that part in the movie. I think there is a real, rare skin disease someone has where they have gold on their skin. Edward has a skin disease.
