I play the best when I'm on bass or timpani, but I do some snare and mallet percussion. I can even to a thumb roll on the tamberine! I had no idea what the hell it was until I had to do it in a combined concert with the high school. It impressed the whole band 3nodding I haven't even started high school yet and already have connections lol.

For marching band I've made snare all 3 years (and am now the snare leader biggrin ) I'm suprised how many people on the first page said they can't play snare, it's so sad emo . I can play any percussion instrument (including drumset), but am not very good at the xylophone/vibraphone.

I pretty much rock the casbah on Snare, but I'm also good at Timpani. I kind of suck at the bells though. D:

belladonna_spiral Godsent77 P.I.T. RocksI play all the toys and the Keyboards (mostly vibes) I can also play snare, but prefer bass YES IT DOES! man, it's good to hear someone else say that for a change. i ablsolutly adore pit. (my jeep tag even says "pitchik") bells, xylo, marimba, vibes...you name it. marimba's my favorite though.Yes, I totally agree...I was a pit chick for four years at my highschool, and I ended being the best mallet player at my school my senior year(in fact, one part of our feild show was so hard, the pit this year calls it the "death run")(i just graduate a few months ago) I primarily play keyboards, but I can do well to not make a fool out of myself on small auxilary stuff, bass drum, and timpani.
