Yeah, I have heard of that. Some of these countries go to the extreme in both direction.
Actually I had to learn how to carry myself while wearing it, having an overall mindset of being focus and determined to get things done while Im out. I also try to have good posture and wear nice things (looking sharp has become a rule to me).
Most importantly, I say "Biismiallah" before I leave my home, before driving, before entering the store and so on. Most of all, I have been pretty good, most ppl ask me questions when they see Im approachable w/o outwardly showing it--like they see me browsing over magazines, playing PS samples in Walmart, talking with other women and walking about with my daughter.
Haha, you do seem very cool, i can imagine you playing PS games in walmart ;P
Wow, I have the utmost respect for you, I really do ^^
Have ya'll ever thought about moving from your city closer to Atlanta?
I also saw your last comment about women and their comments...You seem super witty, do you catch them on surprise? haha xD
Thanks.
I have thought about moving to Altanta b/c I like cities. I got some friends up there too.
One time, I was at the grocery store and the girl who works the deli asked me to show my face.
So I did.
The girl: Well, look at that. A normal face.
I stood there, in utter disgust as the tramp ran towards the back like a little schoolgirl who thought she did something important.
I made my mind to really dish some coins from that day on.
Recently, I went to DEFC to check on something. That day I wasnt in a good mood nor did I like going to DEFC. I gave the guard my bag for him to search it.
The guard: You're not packing any artillery in here, arent you?
Me: (Peggy Bundy style) Naah, today I decided to leave my rocket launcher at home; it's pretty heavy!!!
Mind you, he's the
only white policeman there in a building of mostly Afro-Americans. And he just got served by an Afro-American Muslim niqabi. So he was so...embrassed. The rest of the policemen and vistors were laughing at him. Even when I was leaving, he was trying to be funny.
Hey, a stupid question now gets a stupid answer in my book b/c it's 2009 and there is no way in Hell that ppl dont know what Islam is about now unless they live in some very secluded area and have no access to Internet, T.V etc.
And ppl shouldnt ask stupid questions to others if they wouldnt ask them to someone they respected or loved. Or if they didnt want someone else to ask their a stupid question.
