Yes I knew that about Luigi's taunt, its actually needed to get a surtain bonus at the end of a match to get all trophies, except the special 3.
And I could look up the movieclip about the controller if you haven't seen it yet.

That gray thing that walks around is a Chozo Statue. It is that thing that gives samus her upgrades in the games(it is always sitting down.). I always see it holding a screw attack upgrade. Play metroid prime to learn more about the chozo.

Play metroid prime to learn more about the chozo. the metroidprime game i got stuck in the frozen ruins i need and upgrade and place all chozo atifacs in the status. The game is cool and the 3prime will be even better.

I don't think he meant the Chozo that walks from left to right and back, but if you look even further into the backround you see some huge thing hanging that is just some ugly sack. And yesterday I finished Metroid Prime 2: Echoes with 100% and in 19 hours and 5 mins.
