Memories of Ice -- Steven Erikson At least with Darujhistan's generous contribution, Dujek would be able to complete the army's resupply. Page 51 is very boring. Of course, the book in question can get away with that, since it's super long.

Quote: The desire for gain rose in them to fierce avarice; so they sought in the new-found worlds which gave such an impetus to the commercial and maritime development of the countries of Europe, not new fields of industry, not even the healthy excitement of exploration and adventure, but gold and silver. The chapter, 'National Character', from Alfred Thayer Mahan's The Influence of Sea Power upon History

The Confessions of Saint Augustine of Hippo -- Translated by Henry Chadwick He had not only read nearly all their books but had even copied them. Bloody boring book, in my opinion, but it was good insight into the beliefs of the early Catholic church. I just don't like how un-romantic and ideal he makes humanity. If we do good things, it's because of G_d's will; if we do evil things, it is our own fault?

Getting Things Done by David Allen Priorities should drive your choices, but most models for determining them are not reliable tools for much of our real work activity. I had mentioned that I was interested in reading that book, so my mom went out and bought it for me. Ironically, it was only the closest book to me (at that moment) because it was sitting on top of The Secret (a gift from my sister)... Sentama Lin The Confessions of Saint Augustine of Hippo -- Translated by Henry Chadwick He had not only read nearly all their books but had even copied them. If we do good things, it's because of G_d's will; if we do evil things, it is our own fault? That's correct, Lin. G_d is, after all, perfect in every way...
