Actually, the dolphins are very mistreated. They are killed by the thousands due to the stupidity of people throwing trash in the seas, naval uses, as well as many other acts. I understand that this is about whales in this thread, I was simply pointing out a fact, and dolphins where in that equation. I studied this intensely for a year and a half. All in all, the point I was making was that the naval branch of the united states military contributes in large part to the deification of marine life, and whales, as a whole.

i totaly agree whalehunting is worse than murder! realy there are sooooooooo many other ways to get what you nead for food eat normal meat for money get a real LEGAL job. whales are dyeing out so quickly thatwe may not even have them on the planet in a decade or so! and its not just antarctica that this is being done in its all across the world! stop the robbing of our oceans and our planet! save the wales! oh and anorther thing is that many of lhe wales that have been killed were killed by people hunting for other water creatures such as tuna using illegal drift nets! the same goes for endangered sharks turtle seals and all of the oceans other creatures! next time you buy fish make sure its line caught because otherwise chances are that not only the fish you are buying were caught and that wales dolphins sharks turtles and many other animals lost their lives for your tuna sandwich or fish dinner!

I have a lot to say over this subject but I want to do more research over marine mammals used as sonar tools because honestly, I didn't know they did that...so I will type another answer over this subject later.
