Oh, come on. Judging these things by height is more or less idiotic; it's not like height has anything to do with personality or whether a person's inclined to be dominant or submissive.
*actually knows more short people with domineering personalities than tall people*

I prefer uke's to be shorter or the same height with less or equal muscle mass. I guess I'm all about the stereotype.

"Is that how it's going to be?" Hm, well; the short people I know always wanna jump on the taller people and thrust their stuff. Why do you think all of the little doggies try to hump taller people's legs? And it's just that the taller, stronger one can do stuff that the smaller, maybe weaker(or stronger O_O) one can't. Ah dunno, that's just me but I want someone taller. "Well, that's not for our souls to decide, now is it?"

I guess that shouldn't really matter but to me it does. Uke should be shorter than seme.

I don't know.. I guess that just so long as the height difference isn't more than a few centimeters, it doesn't matter. in my opinion muscle mass has more to do with it than anything (seme should be a bit stronger), but then again I suppose I might have to oppose to any overly-muscled character, seme or uke...

Chyeah, being a very short person I'dbe very comfortable with a taller boyfriend so he can get stuff down from the high shelves... Or let me ride on his shoulders surprised

Height doesn't really matter in terms of the actual act; it's a purely aesthetic cliche. Personally, and depending on the pairing, I don't mind if the uke is taller. Actually, I usually prefer the seme and uke to be the same height.

Eh, like it matters. It's just a stereotype, in yaoi, yuri, and hetero stuff.
I was walking down the pier at Santa Monica (in California, by LA) and saw a couple walking by. There was a short, rather chubby dude, probably around 5 feet tall, walking next to his 6 foot tall skinny girlfriend. Took me aback, but they were a cute couple nonetheless.
Same thing in yaoi. I haven't seen many taller ukes. Although I prefer it if they're the same height biggrin

Well, I guess it matters. In just yaoi that is. But I guess the right way to put it is, 'does the size really matter?'
