Desert_Fox_Rommel notmuch_23 If I had the money, I would soooooooo get a Saiga 12. It's a semi-automatic shotgun with a removable magazine. It's basically a twelve-gauge AK47 in function. I'd load that sucker with just hollow-point slugs too. Somebody breaks in, and there goes their heart, arm, leg, or hopefully if I can aim the thing well enough, head and shoulders! I had a Saiga-20 shotgun in a zombie survival game and it was pretty awesome. I'd probably prefer a 20 gauge since it has less recoil, but if loaded properly can kill just as well.Weird way to put it considering that any weapon, gun or otherwise can kill just as well as any other, it's a totally different thing to say that it can kill just as quick.

If someone breaks into my house at 2 in the morning I have a feeling they're probably not going to have a kevlar vest with ceramic plates. In fact they probably won't be armored at all. A 20 gauge shotgun with buckshot should drop them just fine.

If it's 2 am and they broke in then it's a safe bet they weren't going to bake muffins for breakfast.

I'm also sure that I don't care what time it is, if you aren't invited, you better have a good reason to be coming into my home!!!!!

I can't find it now but I heard an amusing story a while back. Some old man calls 911 because someone is breaking into his shed in the middle of the night. The lady on the line tells him nobody is available to help him so he hangs up. A minute later he calls 911 again and tells them not to bother because he killed the intruder. Several police units, a fire truck, a swat team, and an ambulance all show up on scene finding the intruder in the garden shed unharmed so they arrested him. One of the officers told the old man that he said he had killed the intruder. The old man replied saying they said there were no resources available to help him.
It's obviously a fake story, but amusing none the less.
