I found somewhere that had BB code for tables, but it didn't work. I tried basic html code for tables, and it didn't work. I wonder if I'm going to have to pull out css. CSS trumps all other codes. (But is it legal?)

It didn't take my CSS either... xp I guess that I'll have to do it the old fashioned way with basic BB code although that won't exactly be aesthetic. There's always the option of creating images for different events and linking them to the front page using BB code. That might look a little snazzier.
Let's go ahead and start making the new front banner. I suggest that it be about 1/2 - 2/3 of the size of the current one, so that all of it can be seen upon entry as well as anything that might be added to it in the future. I like the idea of the Parthenon, so I suggest that we go ahead and do that unless anyone has any suggestions. Let's set a deadline of avatar submissions to Friday, July 17th. Let's use all members in the front banner who have posted a minimum of 5 times and who have posted within the last month. This information is easy to obtain in the members list.

What do they procrastinate on?
I hate to bring this up, but it proves a point. Remember how in the old guild that banner contest went on for about 5 or 6 months before our captain finally chose a winner. xp I didn't want to risk something like that happening.

I think I'll go with the Chinese dress cause it goes with the name anyways on a count of Li-mei Minamino is Asian so there u go it was either that or gothic cause thats what I wore quite a bit lol! oh and I have a question how are we going about this? is it going to be strictly the captain, vice captains, and crew or is it people that post in the guild quite a bit as well?

I want to include everyone who has posted in the last month. That should include all of the current people. I also want to set a minimum number of posts at 5 to make sure that anyone who appears on the front page actually attempted to be a regular member of our guild. It would be a bad idea to just use the people who post in this thread, because not too many people are participating in this thread for some odd reason.
(Just a side-note, you can completely disregard your username in setting up your avi. No one really cares if it matches or not. It is just your Gaia alias.) 3nodding

yeah I know but the whole reason I got the Chinese dress is because of my character in my sisters story Li-mei thats who I based my avi on well untill I took the vampire potion but any how I also got the dress cause my sister Dew will tell ya I like Asian stuff well come to think of it other coutures as well but thats another story lol! like I said I'll either go with the Chinese dress or goth one or the other 3nodding
