No it wouldn't be a collage, because the characters should be interacting with each other and all made in the same perspective so it would be a group shot and not just copy and pasting randomly.

HEEEY. how about we do a katamari damacy themed picture? (:
every artist could draw one object/person and we could slap em all onto the katamari ball.
and then I guess someone could be elected to draw the Prince or another character. ehhh?

I would love to do a muliple collab with different artists, i think the strangeness would make it interesting to look at XD but its all up to the people, if they want to join in, as i can see some people will not like doing collabs and thats fine C: I'm not forcing anybodys hand here <3
On the ten character idea that sounds like a great thing to do <3 if we would be all drawing our own characters why not be Gaia avatars? I suggested not doing gaia avatars in the mASSIVE collab because it wouldnt be fair on some other people.. and we all love art of our avatars so .. i dunno..
SO, how about making the 10 character a Gaia theme?
I think it would be a great idea for someone to sketch out the ten characters but then its bearing in mind what size cANVAS we should use, we artists like working on all different sizes id wager... so its finding a nice size to not make it too big or too small. Then when we have a sketch we can number each ''skeleton sketch' and people can say ohh i want to do #5 or i will do #3 and draw their own avatar there ?
Its clearly something some people are intrested in which is spiffy but its just refining the details C: it all sounds exciting for me :V
I'm very busy this weekend D: friend came round and i still need to shower and i has a TB HDD for my birthday ^0^ which hasnt come yet btw XD

how about we make it like a police lineup? or a parade of characters walking down a street or yellow-brick-road? if we have some sort of organizational theme like that, the rest will be easy to work with. someone will just have to design a sketch of the environment and people can start popping in their charas from there.

Well, we could have us all draw a character in the sketch but after that have each artist work on one part of the whole image. For example, one artist would do all the inking, another would be responsible for coloring the eyes, another for the skin, another for the hair, another for the clothes, background, etc. Basically, we could play up each of our strengths and hopefully create a kick-a** image. That's just a suggestion though, I can understand how it may not work out, especially if people argue about what part they want to color.

I rather do an entire character than have someone do parts of it.
Everyone here has a different style to their art and it would look really really bad if you combined like 10 different styles into 1 character. :/
If we do it that way I don't think I will take part, but if there is multiple characters completed by their own artist then I would be more than glad to work with everyone.

Oo~ i like this police lineup idea~ tho the only thing i'm worried about is dynamics~ It may look just a bit monotone with them just standing there, its the interaction that's tough~

how about like a party of picnic that way there are plenty or ways to get interaction done. the numbered skeleton idea is good but i think it should be a bit more refined sort of like
background outline
character 1 - outline
character 2 -outline
etc.
background sketch
character 1 sketch
character 2 sketch
etc.
background detailed sketch
character 1 detailed sketch
character 2 detail sketch
etc.
background lineart
character 1 lineart
character 2 lineart
etc.
background base colors
character 1 base colors
character 2 base colors
etc.
background touch-ups
character 1 touch-ups
character 2 touch-ups
etc.
after each person is done they would post they're completed portion for the next person to continue on.
i think its important that we keep the background going with the characters because then it wont look too much out of place.
each person gets to choose they're job
i think that we shouldn't be allowed to work on our own avi's but have a choice of what avi of ours gets drawn

everyone should meet in a paintchat or something to put stuff together.... the picnic idea is good, although perspective will be an important factor in keeping everything consistent.
