Are you guys still accepting new players the campaign I was just playing died a horrible death.... I'm really new so I ask a lot of questions.. but I do genuinely love the game and (do my best) to hold my own

I would love to take up a spot but I have only played 4.0 how big a difference is it from 2? I did some lurking and saw all the percentage rolls ... eek sweatdrop

From what i have seen of 3.5 and 4.0. It is different. No feats, there are no super/semi-super stat races, its all equally rounded out, so that if a race has a stat increase they also get a stat decrease. And a few other minor things..
There are Weapon/Non~weapon proficiencies though, you have to have them to do various things, if not, then you try to do it at a penalty or can't do it at all.

You cant even compar 3.0/.5 to 4.0 And more so you can't compare 2.0 to either of them. Every generation has some major changes. 3.0 was perfection and 3.5 was a addon. 4.0 was made to be a "game" anyone could play not a hobby like us DieHard players are. So here is the SYnapsis

Yea i played a campighn bout a month ago for 4.0 it horrid. And those of us who know the intricate details of D&D are stupified by how simple it is and get confused easily.

Here are some examples.
Fort/Ref/Will. You no longer roll for them. Its 10+stats is your result.
Flatfooted/Touchattack no longer exists. Its Combat Advantage
Feat gone. Now we have abilities for Encounters and Daily
HP+con no rolling set amount of gain every lvl

They say it's "Easier" for younger people to understand. They want it to be a GAME for all ages. The way I see if a kid can understand D&D s/he eared the right to play it.
