I agree. I tried several solo freebie threads and they died really fast. So I'm in a joint-freebie thread. Thank god. rofl

I say 30% of my art is freebies, but usually they're not CG'd and theyre just head sketches because I'm pretty lazy and I have problems with declining people e.e; which usually ends with me having to draw too many people that I dont want to draw ._.

Art trades on the other hand are more fun for me :3
Now I'm trying to avoid AF

Vioche -i'm not surprised your art is beautiful <3 thanks for showing me your freebies C:
@Alec im sure there will be one for the prom <333 i get scared away by hectic big threads though because i find it hard to talk when it gets crazy fast XD
@anime_hunter Fwee another familiar face <333 i like the third one very much so <3333
and yes, i think i prefer to be in a joint freebie thread than a solo one, my art isnt brilliant so its not sought after to be honest so its nice doing it together with more people <33 then i dont have to bump my thread XD
@tsubioshi They are so awesome! and its ok to be lazy with free art and such, but you should learn to say no and such D: i know what you mean though it would be nice if everyone could get art OTL and yes art trades are much more fun you give you get i like that XD

I usually only hit up the Freebies forum when I want to try something new with my art. xD Then I have a problem in keeping within the parameters I've set. (I'll say I need three people, ten post, and I want to do them all. >w< I hate telling someone no.)
Though it is pretty amusing that every freebie thread I've had, I've been hit up by the same person. xD
I think now I just latch onto someone's art request thread with OCs, or pretty avatars, and then I keep drawing that person.
Silly as it is, my favorite freebie wasn't what I'd consider good at all, but I did my best experimenting with perspective/action. The kind soul liked it enough to send me a letter. @___@ I wouldn't have even offered them at that price in a shop. (And then my favorite freebie given out, and the person never PM'ed me back with what they thought. xD It goes either way.)

I like doing freebies, but I can only do digital art biweekly, and it doesn't turn out as well as when I sketch it out on paper. It's good practice though. 3nodding

Sui: DAT'S RIGHT! >: D Hahaha. Thanks. xD Even though I changed the style a bit now, but that's my most recent freebie done last month. rofl
xD EXACTLY. It gets tiring after a while, so I don't really want to deal with it anymore. @ ___ @;;;
Rose: That's what happened to me when I first started my temp freebie thread. I said I wouldn't draw everyone. . .but then people came in and asked so I did so. @ ___ @;;; Eheh.

xD Yep, then you get burned out.
o__x; I meant to have a permanent freebie thread, but my goodness... it was far too much for me to keep up with.

Rose: You should join a joint-freebie thread then. ;D Really, not only are you not alone, but you're guaranteed someone to chat with. xD And it attracts more people. THANK GOD. xDDD You don't need to worry much about dying thread. :3

o__x; I actually offered my services as an artist to a charity thread, but the last post I had was "I'm setting up an auction for you to raise gold for us, I'll give you a link tonight". xD
=3 I'll look around the forum for people with open shops for other artists.

@Rose Koneko wow how nice =0 it must have been very well received C: and i hate when that happens, it happened to me for a comission, they came in my threadf and was like omg i luff you artsz let me comission you nao so i did it, they just compleated the trade [so i assumed they where happy with it] but they never replied when i sent the art, its very disheartening.
@AkamatsuToki - mm im the same my traditional work turns out better proportioned and generally looks better :3
@anime yay for joint freebie threads C: and i really like the new style change C: ahh i wish i could be more consistant and stick to styles i end up doing D:

Sui: I like it too. C: It's less shojo-anime-ish, and more. . .anime-ish? rofl I'm trying to be more consistent at the moment. It's really hard when you're starting a different style. Even if it's subtle. rofl
