Well, if you work you need to pay taxes, but they are usually taken out of your pay check before you get it or you pay the tax later when tax season comes around. But if you are a deadbeat who doesn't work, the government doesn't make you pay taxes.

I suppose one doesn't NEED to pay taxes, but the government will do their damnedest to try to screw you over once they find you...if you are rich they will find you. And sometimes they send you to prison.

Personally, I'd rather just pay the tax.

My income is money generated by work performed that others pay for. It's the only money I've got coming in.

And if you ever pointed a gun at me and asked for my wallet, I'd have to laugh because there's never any cash in it, and half the time my debit card is in my pocket rather than my wallet.

And I believe there are documented laws regulating who pays taxes and how much they pay and how they are taxed. That, to me, is enough of a legal obligation. Repercussions for not obeying the law are enough to make me want to obey because the punishment just isn't worth it. Such threats, as you call them, are just incentive to adhere to the legal obligation at hand.

Well, the money I earn is the only profit my checking account has. I, therefore, call that money income.

Also, it is my sense of "obeying the law is the right thing to do, that and I don't want to get ******** over later" that makes it an obligation. This is why I pay my taxes.

I find it disgusting that you're not even questioning where he's getting his information from. I find it disgusting that you are assuming things about him. I find these disgusting because I thought you two were more intelligent than to just spew s**t about something you THINK you know about. I thought from what I knew about you two in the past that you were willing to learn about what others tell you and make your own opinions from there.

I believe that GTR should have been linking you to all the information he had available to him, and he didn't which was stupid on his part.

Watch these, all of these. Then when you're done if you don't want to learn more about the acts and statutes that have nothing to do with you as a human that will be your choice.

GTR is trying to offer you people a chance to not be blinded by a language you don't even understand, he is trying to offer you a way to not be "children of the state" anymore. So like I said, watch these, I believe there are 9 parts, and THEN make your decision.

I'm not trying to rush in and be like "Listen to GTR blah blah blah" because he went about this all wrong from the beginning. I'm just trying to give you all some common ground. That and I'm fed up of hearing GTR b***h about how little you two know about what he's talking about. How can you when you don't have any access to what he's talking about. Personally, whether it be a law, a statuate, or what ever else, to me it is nothing more than semantics. If it is in the books and I agree with it, I'm going to comply.
