I have a huge collection of day of the dead type skulls and skeletons. Not because they're so goth but because they're just part of my heritage. I also have a skull bracelet and necklace. The bracelet is little sterling silver skulls with bone shaped links and the necklace is a little shield with a skull that has diamonds in the eyes. I got them both from the ross simon catalog.

People have been giving me things with skulls on them for a while now, I think it started after I had already been a goth for a while. At first it was because it was a skull, now it just matches everything else. Among the items I own with a skull motif: "her royal Highness's matched luggage" a three piece luggage set I use when I travel for business (which is at least once a month and usually three times or more) an oversized bandanna, my wallet, glovelets (which my mother knitted herself, she is a phenomenal pattern knitter) armsocks, socks, and the treads of my lolita shoes. The only thing with skulls on it I actually picked out for myself is my checkbook (and technically the shoes, but I didn't see the treads until after I bought them). I made a design incorporating plaid, skulls, and black cats to make my checkbook match my purse and it's contents. Yes, the contents of my purse are coordinated. I am sure this is a sign of a mental illness. But no, I do not own any actual skulls, or any prop skulls. I could have a goat skull if I wanted one, as I live on a farm, but since we can sell them for fifty dollars a head, I never saw the point.

The only skulls I have are a pair of earings. sweatdrop My mother always refused to buy me anything with a skull on it, but now I'm starting to get a bit of an income, so she doesn't really bother me much about that anymore, as long as I pay for it myself. I went to Claire's to get the earrings (it's one of the only jewelry stores around here I can afford) and some of the other skull earrings there were hideous. They were pink, dangley, and sort of cartoon cutouts. They had them in all colors. I bought some silver colored, plain, sort of realistic, un-retarded ones.

I've got a number of skulls laying about. One on my stereo, other on various clothes and such. Also have a small plastic skull sitting on the dashboard of my car.

I'm not a fan of skulls. They're just not that appealing.
But, if I did ever own a skull I'd like a Sheep's skull. I think they're more attractive and less stereotypical than a human-shaped skull.

Hm..I have alot of T-shirts with skulls on them. Many of them from the horrid greedy corporation of WalMart (They are cheap, and this is before I discovered thrift stores). I'd say about anywhere from 5-8 shirts that have skulls on them somewhere. Other then that I have.. -One skull candle which I plan on using perhaps next sahamain, but I'm not for sure, as I don't know where I'll go to do a ceremony when I'm in a busy city for an anime convention that runs through halloween (sahamain). -A hat with skulls on it that bears the word "Coalition". It's a nice hat, but I don't wear it often.
When I was a little baby bat I loved skulls. They were one of those so called "gothy" things that I thought were awesome. As I got older, I still tend to find nice shirts that just happen to have skulls on them, but I find skulls sort of worn out and tiring, so I don't plan on buying them.
But real skulls? No. I would never keep an animal part in my house. I am not a vegitarian, but I do not support the use of animal products. And human? I think that's sort of illegal, but I'm not sure.

My mother doesn't really like skulls so I don't have much but every 'skull' thing I have is from Jack Skellington with the exception of a pair of Converse sneakers with skulls. Oh wait, I have a ground hog skull. My dad found it in some state he was working in. But, I think that really is it. And I have a little black skull candle. Now I really can't think of what skull items I have. In total, 15 or 20?

Talulah Gosh i don't have very many things with skulls on them. i just don't really care for them. i like the mexican-style skulls though, i think they are pretty. but i don't wear skull barrettes or whatever. I agree with you. I love Mexican-style skulls, they're really pretty. I have two, that hold my books in place.

Skulls have started to become very commonplace thanks to hot topic and s**t like that. It's been popularized over the years by people that don't get the symbolism of any of it and what it meant to people who used it. Still, I like some stuff. There's a resin techno-skull I was looking at a while back, and a resin celtic skull. I have two pirate flags in my bedroom, and several skeleton/skull themed things sitting on top of the Hutch for my computer desk.
