diana got hit in the chin, and the force with which he kicked knocked her up some. She took controll of the fll by spinning and landing in a crouch. as he began to land, she performed a sweep kick, matching the time to where it would connect with him, right as he landed, in his moment of instability. the floors were dusty, but she didnt mind. sweat dropped her forehead even though they had just started. Ryu was a difficult oppnent. but she was to so it was all good.

((Judge Matthew here. I've always followed by if you can explain the dodge well enough then you get it. I learned this way and found at times that sometimes it is better to take the hit. Not to mention if dodging persists it opens to certain opportunities, i.e. there are times when you just can't dodge an attack.))

((i agree too. it takes a certain amount of skill to sucessfully explain a dodge. if you cant dodge rigth, you should be hit. and i agree with the fact that either dodging or takeing the hit can leave you to certain advantages that normally you wouldnt be able to do.))

-ryu was tripped by Diana and fell to the floor breaking the fall with his hands. he pushed up quickly bringing himself back to his feet- you're pretty good -he took a combative stance once more and prepared for the next part of the match-

Wendy enter the dojo.She walked and peeked around the counter of the wall.She saw two people fighting.'wow they're good...' she thought.she then looked at her flute.'I have to train harder to mach them...'she then looked back at them.

 "I can't take the pain in my heart anymore..." Once Tessa realized there was a dojo in the city, she immediately traveled towards there. Anyone who would go there to train regularly would have to be a worthy opponent, and maybe they would have the abilities necessary to deal with her. As Tessa entered, however, she saw an ongoing battle and a familiar face. Dardiana was there, but she was fighting without her armor on. The man that she was fighting, however, was a new face, and the girl watching them was also someone that she had never seen before.
"They both do look strong...and you look quite interesting yourself..."
Part of Tessa truly hated herself for thinking of picking a fight with Dardiana, but as long as there was a chance that she could kill Tessa forever, she would also have to be one of Tessa's targets. It wasn't like Tessa was trying to kill anyone, just force them to kill her.
"I wonder...if any of you has what it takes...to defeat me..."
Wiping some loose strands of raven-black hair from in front of her face, Tessa held out one hand, letting the demonic purple energy of her soul coagulate into the form of a massive sword. She took the weapon in both hands, moving it nimbly despite its massive weight. She stared at the three of them, her seriousness reflected in the cold stare of her deep, blue eyes.
"...A battle to the death. If you refuse or try to run away, I'll kill you anyway. Now, fight me..." "Please just let me sleep forever..." `

Wendy stood shocked.'is this girl serious...' she thought to herself.She held her flute tightly in her hand.She tilted her head to one side then to the other.Worry lit up her eyes."ah....um..." is all she could say at the moment."ah mam..."she looked down at her feet.

"I can't take the pain in my heart anymore..." Tessa's eyes shifted to Wendy, with all the ferocity of someone who was planning on taking her life.
"You must not listen very well. When someone says they're going to attack you..."
Tessa took one slow, menacing step towards Wendy before she began to charge at her at full speed.
"The last thing you should do is take your eyes off them!"
The way Tessa held her weapon, it was clear that she was putting all of her strength into her attack and leaving herself unable to properly defend herself. She held the weapon over her head so she could swing her weapon faster and more powerfully, however it was now completely out of the way of her body, making difficult at best to deflect any incoming attacks with the weapon.
Tessa's raven hair flowed behind her as she quickly closed the distance between herself and Wendy. Tessa slashed downward with all of her strength at Wendy, the force of her blow tearing a hole in the floor as the sword hit the ground. Despite the ferocity of the attack, Tessa controlled it exactly and placed her slash so that it wouldn't be too difficult for Wendy to dodge, and if she froze up in fear, she would get nothing but a deep gash; painful, but far from fatal. "Please just let me sleep forever..."

Wendy spin around and jumped up in the air.She landed on her feet.A little bit of blood came from her hand, she had been hit.She looked up at the girl sharply.she stood strait as she could."Sorry mam.I would like to fight but,..."she smiled."you see, I can't fight that well."She hold on to her flute tightly, then she sat down.Wendy took out a cloth and rapped it around her hand that was bleeding."I'm sorry...please,forgive me!"

-a bright light shines blinding everyone then ryu reappears fully clad in his armor. he breathes a blast of fire toward Tessa then jumps toward her with his lance fully drawn- she told you that she didnt wish to fight, so dont MAKE HER! HYYYAAHH!!!! -the loud cry echoed throughout the area and out into the sky as Ryu sped closer to Tessa prepared to stab her in the stomach-

"I can't take the pain in my heart anymore..." Tessa barely had time to turn towards Ryu before the blast of fire threatened to engulf her. Moving as quickly as she could, Tessa stabbed her sword into the ground in front of her, trying to use it to protect herself from some of the flames. As they engulfed her, she could feel the intense heat all around her, burning her. Tessa held in the pain as best she could, trying to force herself not to scream, which was difficult as the intense flames seared her body.
After the flames passed her, Tessa found herself in a severe amount of pain. The burns all over her made it painful to even think of moving. Tessa looked like she barely survived the attack, and her inability to evade the next attack was no surprise. The lance landed directly in her stomach, cutting right through her. After being stabbed through, Tessa fell down to her knees. It looked almost like she had died, but slowly, her hands rose up to the lance stabbed through her.
"Good try...but...I don't die...that easily..."
Tessa ripped the lance out of her, which left a large hole inside of her. Stumbling backwards, Tessa put a hand to her chest, and the same purple energy from before began to surround her. Everyone could see Tessa's skin quickly repairing itself, until, within seconds, she was back to normal, as if the attacks never happened.
"...Kill me...Kill me before I kill you...if you can..."
Grabbing her sword again, Tessa slashed horizontally, trying to hit Ryu right in the torso. Tessa easily had enough strength to cut through Ryu's armor with a direct hit, but any trained swordsman could see that her attack was lacking in form, and would just bounce off his armor. Either she was completely lacking in skill, or she wasn't actually striking to kill. "Please just let me sleep forever..."

-ryu was taken back by her ability to heal- "so that's why she wants me to kill her" he thought "she's basically immune to dying by flesh wounds...what can i do? go for her head maybe? lets try that"
-tessa then slashed horizontally at ryu but it only scratched his armor- you'll have to do better than that...that is if you're actually trying. its almost like you WANT me to kill you. i suggest you think of an alternative to being killed. for it is not honorable to kill without engaging in actual battle. so its either live with whatever problems you may have, or hold nothing back. i will not kill you out of mercy. prepare yourself! -just then ryu swung the pointed edge of his lance downward right at Tessa's head-

Wendy looked with her eyes wide.'wow...'she thought.'Wait a minute!I can't let people die like this.but I can't stop them,they are to powerful....what should i do!?!'she started to get worried.Then she looked at her flute.'All I can do is play.' Then she started to play her flute.One tear came out her eye and down her cheek.'this should bring them down.'she thought

"The pain in my heart is unbearable..." Tessa braced herself for the impact of Ryu's lance, not moving to defend herself. She knew it wouldn't kill her, if all she needed was to get stabbed through the head, she wouldn't have to go through all the trouble of finding people to fight. However, as he was about to hit her, it seemed like everything froze to Tessa. Nothing, not even she was moving. She could hear a voice, it sounded like her own, but darker. It was whispering softly into her ear, giving Tessa tingles all down her spine.
"Tessa...you know this isn't the right way...to gain your freedom..."
Tessa was unable to turn and look at who this could be, but she could feel almost as if this message was coming from the deepest recesses of her own mind.
"Who are you...and what do you mean?"
"You were...given your powers...to fulfill a purpose. Until you do, you will never be free of your powers. Not even death can halt you, the only thing you can do is..."
Tessa cut the voice off before it could finish. She knew where this was going, and she wouldn't comply.
"No, I won't become a monster! I refuse..."
"Tee hee, don't you realize you're already a monster? There's nothing you can do to change that. So embrace it, turn the sadness and pain into anger, and unleash it upon the world! Make every person suffer ten times what you have!"
Tessa looked down to the ground, finding it harder to refuse. She could feel her sadness slowly turning into rage, an anger with no direction.
"Remember, it's the only way you'll ever see any of 'them' again..."
As Tessa's mental conversation was over, Ryu could see that the look in her eyes was completely different. Her aggressive look was now replaced with one that seemed more of malice, and her deep, blue eyes were now a glowing, demonic purple. As Ryu's stab was about to connect, Tessa's sword dematerialized back into purple energy that created a barrier directly in front of her face. The energy could not block the attack fully, and shattered like glass after holding Ryu's attack for a second, more than enough for Tessa to get out of the way. She jumped back, landing with her head down and her hair covering her eyes, although the glow from her eyes was visible through the hair. She gazed up evily at Ryu.
"You want...me to fight...without holding back? Heh heh....ha ha ha..."
Tessa knelt down, putting both of her palms flat on the floor of the dojo. The floor of the dojo and all of the plants outside of it began to wither away and rot, and small amounts of blue energy were being channeled from them to Tessa, as if she was absorbing the life of all the small, living things nearby.
"More energy...need more...more souls..." "I'll make the whole world feel that pain..."
