She jump up in the air and grab the butterfly."ha!got you now!"she landed on her feet,the butterfly held tightly in her hands.As she was walking back,she looked at over and saw a man do some sort of magic.'wow...'she thought.She didn't let go of the butterfly,but she still watched.Then she tilted her head to side.

::All of a sudden he began to speak to the crystal:: My god Balor, I call upon your assistance I have need of your talents.

::To no surprise to Warren the smoky globe turned reddish in color and began to speak to him:: Loyal servant, you have served me well so I will overlook this intrusion, what need have you of me?

::Warren's mouth curved into a wicked demonic smile:: I need...information. More specifically what are the properties of this world and what are the ruling forces within.

You have plans for this world?

Not of yet, of course anything I do shall be in your name.

Very well. I could use a greater dominion if that is your plan for later. ::And with that the god began to explain the full workings of this world and time period to Warren. He sat there listening, he had no intention of giving Balor any more power and if anything he was going to take power for himself. However he really knew nothing of this area. The best way to trick a god that wasn't completely omniscient was to make him think you were working for him. He still had to speak with Alexria but that would come later::

Following her up the tree, David climbed up it carefully then sat down next to her. He looked over the courtyard. "You can see a lot from up here."

There weren't too many people in the courtyard except a few people just walking around randomly or relaxing. He saw some guy looking like he was speaking to a red-colored crystal ball in front of him. Heh...weirdo....

He turned his attention back to Mayumi. "Anyways, where're you from?"

David grinned at her. "Nope, I'm from Canada. Some city called Mosonee." He shrugged. "I moved out of there when I was like 8 though."

Because his father had left the family so his mother couldn't afford to keep their house anymore but David didn't tell her that.

Since she told him something that happened to her, David didn't bother to cover it up anymore. "That's kinda like what happened to me. My dad abandoned me before I was born and my mom died of cancer soon after we moved. I didn't go to any orphanage though. I just live with my aunt now." He scratched his head. "I kinda just moved in with her."

He partially understood the whole alcohol thing. His aunt, Anya was her name, was almost always drunk or going to some night club to get drunk and have her 'fun'. Not exactly the best parent in the world but David put up with it after a while. She never abused him or anything though.

"I think I get what you mean." Perhaps this guy had treated her badly?

David saw her quickly wipe away a few tears though he decided not to make a big deal about it or mention it at all. He said in a warm voice. "It's okay, some people in the world are just like that. You just kinda have to ignore them and get on with your life..."

He trailed off. He never was too good at explaining things.

Mayumi smiled sadly and gave David a big hug. "You don't know how hard it was for me to ask you out." She said. "Usually guy's scare me so bad I run." Mayumi started to shake.

She started to cry thinking about what The 16 year old from long ago did to her. In her eyes for a long time she felt empty, meaningless, dirty, voilated,and when ever she met some one she ran because she thought they wouldn't want her if they found out what happened.

Mayumi looked up the tears in her eyes. She smiled but she felt meloncholy. "Looks like we both have good and bad luck. And we were just some good luck for each other." She said.
