I did not wake up Canadian and I have to say as much as I love some Canadians and hate most others, I'm glad I stayed an American citizen.
I'm married to a U.S. Airman, so I imagine my being a Canadian citizen would mess things up quite a bit in that aspect. Lolz!

Actually I was thinking of you when I posted this, Hermie, I wasn't sure if your mom was a Canadian citizen born in Canada, but if that is the case then yes, the law applies to you.
@Just: There are plenty of Canadians who are married to U. S. citizens, I don't understand how that would complicate things. Either way, I'm glad you're happy with your current situation.

Er... I would imagine that would just impart dual citizenship to you. smile

@Just I really don't get how that would be a problem... in the least... is there some law that I don't know about that says you have to be an American citizen to marry someone in the military? (yes there is sarcasm in every part of that question)
I'm kinda hoping I get dual citizenship in the US and Mexico, cause as much as I want certain rights here in the US that only citizens get... the LAST thing I want is to give up my citizenship in Mexico, I loves it too much.

I double checked with my mom and it turns out I AM Canadian now!
Unfortunately, I didn't get any Canadian decorations filling my room as I woke. Slightly depressing. Hopefully they didn't get the wrong house gonk

Find out my Canadian? What the... That doesn't even make sense! gonk
I find out my American everyday. I also wake up American each day... Except on the days I wake up Mexican and start spouting random snippits of Espanol here and there. It's not my fault, really. Just sort of happens... There was that time I woke up Chinese... but I don't like to talk about it... .___.;;

Hopefully they didn't get the wrong house gonk Just for you Hermie, I added a link to the first post! If he wasn't retired, I would have my Mountie uncle put on his red surge and shake your hand. xd @Pisces: I thought you were referring to some abominable typo I had made in the first post for a second there! But no typo, I just had the offending party on ignore. xd
