It's not really "important" in Canada, and it's a day that is "observed" more than "celebrated." I don't think anyone throws an April Fool's Day party, and it sounds bizarre to hear it called a holiday. For your amusement, the Top 100 April Fool's Hoaxes. EDIT: @Inmate, there are a lot of origin stories regarding April Fool's Day, some regarding changing from one calendar to another, one relating to Noah's Ark, and one about people celebrating spring too early. It's an extremely old concept, either way.

People throw parties on April Fools? o.O
I put the holiday on the same level as Groundhog's Day. It's there, but rarely does anyone pay attention to it. I only see pranks and such from online sites like Gaia. (I loved Gmail's too, haha).

LOL.. okay so when I saw that yesterday I was completely upset, thinking they had sold themselves out.. but I didnt realize until today that it was not real haha.. sweatdrop I feel super slow but thats okay..
and yesterday, my friend calls me and she was like,
"OMG DID YOU HERE ABOUT IT?! IT HAPPENED BY MY HOUSE.. OH GOSH IT WAS CRAZY!!!"
and so I got really confused and then kinda scared becaue I had no idea what she was talking about so I was like,
"WAIT WAIT WAIT WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT....?!?!?!?!"
and then she kept on and told me a plane crashed and I was like freaking out and after 3 minutes she was like "APRIL FOOLS"
Oh gosh haha.. Im so gullible...

I fell for a prank this year.You see it was 4th pd and this pregnant girl said her water broke,everyone was silent and the teacher paniced a little.Just as she reached for the phone the girl started laughing and yelled "APRIL FOOLS!!' All but her friend(who was in on it) were fooled,she said the next time she says that her water breaks it's actually breaking.

I was duped by..... THE WEATHER! You see April 1st was such a damn warm day here, I didn't even need my coat, just my sweater and I was good to go! I thought "Hurrah! Spring is totally here!" Guess what? It's snowing. stare

My dad put a duck in my bath....scared the crud out of me until I realized it was a fake luring duck from his hunting gear. -.-;;;;
Or my brother (long long time ago) ate a cookie then said it was my toy bunny.
Or perhaps when my sister superglued my lips shut. That was just cruel.
My other brother put dog food in my chilli. *yuck*
That is just a little bit for now. ^_^;;;
