Love it!! Then again, I'm obssessed with ballet too. But I wonder if the shoe thing is a theme. CS had a shoe on it. Now this one. *Ponders if LKH or Anita developed a shoe fetish while I wasn't paying attention*

I like it 3nodding But I'm in England so we probably get the same boring cover as always. Our covers are basically the same for each book, they just vary in colour and the background you can barely see. The face on the front of the covers is meant to be Anita but it doesn't look anything like she's described, at least it doesn't look like it to me.

dscichocki35 I like the cover and like the red slippers smile I'm much more interested in reading the book myself. I cannot wait til it comes out and the book about Micah too. My friend at the bookstore said the book about Micah comes out maybe in December and I hope so cause I need another book to read and a nice Christmas present for myself smile ummmmmmmmmmmmmm.................. Micah is already out.

Hmm, I always like the style that they have for the covers (or at least the covers of the books that I get ^^;; )

I think it matches the book well. Obviously setting people up for the plot - ballet slippers for the ballet where it all goes down, so to speak. The photography is simply beautiful, and I adore the covers for the Anita Blake series. Always so tasteful~ x3

That's an interesting thing to do. How did you manage to make it match him?

The people who havent seemed to realize this. The artist that the ball was to be thrown for was a ballet dancer hence the ballet shoes and outfit.

V.i.r.a.g.o That's an interesting thing to do. How did you manage to make it match him? All black and white? And lots of lacy stuff? That would match what he always seems to be wearing, and his office and rooms and stuff.

Lady Dracoterreus I think it's all right....i know the red shoes are supposed to pop but a little too much for me. I luv heart the cover but the shoes are a little to red for me. Maybe if they were a darker red it would look a bit better?
