" You havent visited your daughter yet and i havent had the time to train yet this week " Ember said as they continued to walk down the hallway. Ember was thinking about asking for a little time off for training but he didnt dare to leave Johns side, there were to many people wanting him dead.

"No, I can not. I know where it is, but I'm the only one who knows. If you go marching in like you own the place John is sure to know I told you! I'll go see what he's up to and keep an eye on things. In the mean time, will you please try to keep John's spies out of trouble."

"You're right. Maybe I'll take my children out to eat tonight. There is supposed to be a convetion in town for the humans. It's like an all-you-can-eat buffet!"

" Just the family or do i need to get a team together? " Ember said knowing the percautions that were needed would take more then just him for john to completely relax and enjoy time with his family.

Katie skipped to John's side, "Hello father!" she said, smiling at him. Then she turned and glared at Ember, "Hello Ember," she said with disgust.
"Hello Katie, where have you been?" John said to her.
"You know...places to go, people to kill," she glared at Ember like that comment was ment for him.
"How about we go out to eat? There is a convention in town and that means fresh blood to be spilled."
There was no sign of emotion in Katie's face even though she hated killing humans, "Sure, why not?" she said.
"Great!" John smiled, "Ember, you and a few of your men can come. Just in case," he said looking at Katie as if at any moment someone would attack her.
"Aww dad!!! Does he really have to come? He's so boring!!"
John laughed,"Of course he does! We wouldn't want you getting hurt now, would we? Now go find your brothers and sisters. The convention starts in a few hours."

Ember didnt say a words his hands where are he side and his nails drew the pure vampiric blood that flowed through his body. " I think i should pick the best and most trusted officer i command to lead the team " ember said as his nails dug themself deeper into his hands. He wasnt gonna be able to hold his sanity in check if he went to the convention with no one strong enough to hold him back and he didnt want to affend john.

Bio: Grew up ingorant of her parents meddling in vampire affairs she worked as a mechanic until she was captured by weapons dealers, the weapon dealers now are trying to force her to tell them about some type of super weapon her parents had been making to fight the vampires even though she dosent know about it very much she still could build it, but she unlike her parents actully likes vampires and is refusing to tell them anything even if it means she has to die.

Chi groaned softly in the darkness, she had been beaten for days now and they havent let up on her. "the next person that comes in here i swaer i will kill them" she said as she spit blood onto the cement floor infront of her, they had chained her up to the ceiling but they hadnt tyed her feet to the floor, all she thought was "stupid cowards going after a girl they all deserve to die"
The second in command of the storage facility was at the convention talking to another one of the anti-vampire workes quietly about the woman they had kidnapped, he seemed estatic about it "finally its what we have been waiting for we found the chick, even though her parents are dead, been killed by vamps i hear but none the less we have her and we'll make her talk, this anti-vamp weapon is going to be the topper it will wipe that smirk off that john santans face" he said cheerfully. "and maybe she can be of other uses also" he said evilly.

Katie had to hold herself back from laughing. She loved making Ember mad. She also knew that Ember hated her, which made making him angry all the more fun. She gave him and arrogant come-and-get-me smile before running off to find her sibblings.

"I know you too well Ember. You don't hate anyone without reason to. What do you know about my daughter?"

There was a clink and a slide as the door opened, chi tensed up for the attack, a grinning man walked in with a few other ones. "hey time for your hourly beating" he purred evilly. He walked up close to her and before he could touch her she heaved her legs up wrapped them around his neck and snapped it with a sickening crack. The men stood there startled for a second them began to scream for the other ones to come in and tye her down. Chi whipped her legs above her head and up the chain and secured her feet on the roof and used her weight to force her hands out of the chains then dropped to the floor. "lets party" she grinned evilly, as she charged forward to kill the screaming men. Their screaming could be heard outside the building.

" I dont hate her john but my gut tells me she up to something and she knows i've caught onto her, its simple realy and happened alot back in the old wars. Your in the way of something that some one wants and when it comes to family even if it is ur most trusted adviser, if i were to even look at her o some one like her back the i woud have been decapitated " Ember said as even more blood oozed out of his hand " I trust your judgement John but she's trying realy hard to get me to screw up so ill be out of her way "

She silenced the humans then found one of their cellphones and called john santan, she had memorized his number in case she needed to call him. The phone rang but no one answered fast enough so she left a quick message. "Hello this is chi rozenet, if you dont remember who i am im the one that always tips you off on who is running weapon shops, well im in a big one at the moment and if you dont get here fast enough im gana kill every last human here, they have tortured me for three days stright and im mad as hell." she said them then said the address of the place then hang up and put the fone in her pocket and resumed slaughtering the anti-vamp workers.

John put a hand on Ember's shoulder, "Ah Ember, I know very well what my daughter is up to. And though you will probably disagree with me, look at it this way: If she could, Katie would kill John Santan in the blink of an eye. But one thing she would never ever do, in a trillion years, is kill her own father. She still sees me as the man I used to be when her mother was still alive; and that right there is what stopps her from killing me."

After they had finished at the convention, Katie went out to a lake near where her house had been when her mother was alive to think. She loved being out here to remember the past.

Later that night a vampire came to find the girl. When he had found her, he gave her a folded up piece of paper, "It's a note from John," he said to her. The note read: I have provided you with an escort out of the building. He will show you the way out and will open the locked doors but he will do nothing more. As for the people coming after you, you will have to fight them off. I want to see just how worthy you are or working with me. Good luck. I hope you don'tmake it out alive.

"maybe i should give them the freaking plans to make that super weapon" she growled to herself and followed the vampire out of the building then to her mechanic shop. She paced back and fourth angerly, "at this rate no one will ever turn me no matter how helpful i am to them" she growled to herself and kept walking back and fourth, "im really debating giving them those plans, it would really make a dent in the vampire population, not to mention every vamp in the world would want to kill me" she laughed "that would be a welcome death i suppose, being killed by the very things you ador" she sighed and sat down and ran her fingers through her hair, "im going to that big convention in town, maybe kill some people just to let off some steam" she said and got her favorite guns and a knife and walked out and to the convention.
