I hope LKH has a say in the casting because that will show what she really imagines her characters to look like. Of course Anne Rice hated Tom Cruise originally for Lestat, and then she ended up liking his representation in the end so, who knows. I just can't believe it is true. I am so happy!!!!!!

Oh and btw, I am so thrilled they started with Guilty Pleasures. I was afraid they would start midway through the series for whatever reason.

Starting at the beginning is always best.
By the way, after doing Guilty Pleasures, I wonder if she plans on continuing? I mean, there are thirteen books; it'd just be silly if she only did one movie. Do you think that might happen though?

i dunno they ended up doing only two movies from the Vampire Chronicles and only one stayed, for the most part, true to the book. o.O

And I doubt those screaming Townsend's name saw him as a good Lestat either, it's just that he's *back to the mimic* SOOOOOOOOOOO hot! pft. I still say that if they cast anyone known in the roles it'd be a disappointment. But that's my opinion.

Jean Claude is not some young kid he is a mature vampire. Having a very young actor playing him is quite silly. Whoever is chosen needs to be at least in their 30's or so and be adult and handsome { not hot !} enough to carry the part. Viggo Mortensen was a great looking Lucifer in "The Prophecy" and was mature enough to play "Aragorn" in LOTR. There are so many male choices out there it's unbelievable. For Anita the could use the girl who plays in "Underworld" She already knows how to kick A@#!!!!
