obviously all of u who think roy is better are all noobs, dont get me wrong i play as roy and think he is a good character, but stat wise marth is just better, so deal wit it

Marth's moves are a lot faster, and that speed is important when going against an opponent who is also fast, but Roy's attacks are stronger, but he's slower, which would be good against a perhaps slower opponent. xd

all of ya'll are wrong samus all the way ya'll can't handle samus thats y you guys pic marth or roy cause she is too much for u lol nosa i'm just palying i don't play them that much but there are pretty good butthere a lil too easy for me to beat

I guess I am a noob since I like Roy better. He is much better looking wink and he is easier for me to play with. I don't know why, I just don't play as well with Marth like I do with Roy *shrugs*

MARTH! Like with he's speed he can beat roy in secons and with the B+ Left or Right tecnic the y both rock. ^-^

ok then....any ways i played of more than a weeks worth and ill tell you that roys IS BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!yea,marth is faster but becuse roy has power than over comes that! put ory and marth(coms and both lvl 9)on finl destion and see.

has better recovery time
better range
harder to combo on
longer and combos
sweet spot at tip
floats
longer WD
runs faster
Roy
more lag time on attacks
less areal possibilites
easier to combo on
few KOing moves
larger sweet spot(hilt to halfway)
shffls faster
just a small comparison
roys up-b v.s. marths up-b is questionable, because roy has possibility to go horizontal, but marth has higher vertical range in his up-b
My thought is that roy is a good character,because he is my main but marth outclasses him in just about everything, to play as roy at higher levels u must have mindgames
