People can no longer cover their eyes.
I play Tales of Symphonia a lot. In the beginning, you team up with a character named Kratos. He's a cool character, he's the first healer you get. The "incantation" he says before casting first aid is "don't over-do it!"
GAH!!! I get so tired of hearing that. Quite irritrating.

People cover "Hey" and "Listen" but they always leave out "Watch out!" and "Look!"

I knew someone would say "Believe it!" Thank goodness I watch it in japenese. Dattebayo, just is less distracting because I don't know japanese anyways.

I know what you all mean. It's just a shame I can't think of any one character from anything that has a catchphrase that makes me want to hurt them... I'll think of someone.

In the same vein, I absolutely abhor adages, aphorisms, or any 'common sense' wisdom that is summed up in a sentence or so and then repeated indefinitely as if that alone makes it true.
You reap what you sow is not always true, when used outside of the metaphor of farming. In fact, the vast majority of such adages and aphorisms that use the form of a metaphor are almost all examples of false analogies, one of the most offense of the classical logical fallacies.
"This is three dog, auuuuuuuauuoouoouuuuuuuuuuu!" Soooooo annoying.

I do believe Pendragon needs an award for bringing up the line that made nearly everybody scream in terror and twitch while resisting violent urges.

Your Lord and Master has arrived What about Tael??? She does the same thing in MM and she does it more frequently, also, the "Hiyah!!!" and constant grunts on the Zelda games made me want to go into the game and rip out Link's noise box, then shoot Navi and Tael with a bow, a fire arrow to be exact, that way they suffer for all eternity, and any other useless sound effect made by speechless characters... I like potatoes
