We were on the field playing our show, and one of our freshman a very very shy tuba player, Ben, did a face plant during the scatter drill. It was hilarious. All you saw on the ground was tuba and arms and legs. Poor kid though, it was great.
Another is some of us ran accross the street from the high school to this chinese place, we ate and had an eating competition. BAD IDEA. I've already told of this experience of eating chinese before a game, but we wre late getting to the field because some of the drumline was in the bathroom "having issues" one of the guys , Jacob actually got someone to guard the door to the bathroom so no one would come in.
OOOH! another is, at one of our last games of the season, (I am an alto sax) and our section is notorious for pranks and whatnot, so all of us got light sabers, and hid them in the giant pockets of our rain coats, since it was raining, and we didnt have our saxes out. We did horn swings with them alllllll the way through town down to the field. The chaperones and directors din't even notice! It was greeattt!

Went to Florida, competed, and won the privilege to perform at the Gator Bowl pre-game show! x] (and played at the half-time game show with the other bands!)... Lol story before the pre-game show: our band has this rule that when we're walking to one place, we stay in files of two and NO ONE GOES THROUGH THE BAND!! The problem is... our band's 400 people. xD So there were all these people cutting in front of us and a whole bunch of band members yelling at them O_O It was kinda freaky but funny at the same time!
Haha and during the competition, for some reason our battery thought that we were dragging so they upped the tempo from 180 -____-X Our percussion director told us we were marching at 195...
Also performed at disney world! <3

Oh Wow. Probably the best one was..
We were coming back from Alabama and We always play 'Never have I ever..' and some people in the back of the bus were playing, and all of a sudden I heard ' Never have I ever.. Done the nasty with anyone on this bus' O_______o It was like 2am. and all the band moms turned around and said ' WHAT?! ' It made my day and then 5min. later I fell into a deeeep sleep. 4hr drive x3
OH and once, Ahehe. I had a RubberDucky Blanket cause it was really cold at this one comp. and My friend Jare Bear fell asleep so I put it on him. x3 He hated me after that. Cause I put the picture on FaceBook.
Our Band is insane. - I have about 20 more stories. Oh Yes.

We were playing our Homecoming show for all the alumni in town and such, so our director told us we would be playing rain or shine. Lo and behold, it rained in the morning during the Homecoming Parade preceding the show, then stopped long enough for us to play pre-game. Then it started again during pre-game. By the time we get back to the stands, we are all soaking wet and cold ( I live in a small mountain town in CO). Our director has us there, trash bags over our instruments, while chaos ensues. IT starts to look up once more, so the band decides to go on with halftime. So for the first two quarters we are freezing our butts off, ( the wind is blowing like you wouldn't believe ) then we go into our tunnel to come off for halftime, the weather starting to look down again. When we go on, it immediately starts to pour, and the wind picks up even more. My hands were frozen, and my WOOL uniform is really starting to weigh me down. Then it begins to hail. Our sousaphone player got blown over, and I was one of the several people to lose my hat, as well as having my cape wrap around my face, practically plastered to it. (Imagine how flat we were!) After that, our director finally let us go home and thaw out. But I was more worried about my poor clarinet.
