I'm always so indecisive about the style of my avi, but I always have my lunar scythe and my demonic anklets. I'm still deciding on what i need to add to my wardrobe....If anyone has some suggestions i would appreciate it. 3nodding

I don't really have an ultimate fave item but I'm really starting to love my pocket watch. Other than that then usually I have my black corset on. I'm just getting into making actual outfits instead of just having items. I'm a work in progress xd

grayfriend I'm poor so it takes me a long time to save up for the items I really like. My avatar usually gets changed little by little. Favorite cheap staple items: -Spiderwick Sprite (SUPER cheap but totally awesome in my opinion) - Gold pocketwatch (I actaully sold mine to buy my complex shirt... =[ ) - Newsprint Stars (Idk why, I just like them) - Star Hairpin I also LOVE striped stockings and legwarmers, but my avie is a Victorian and she much wear a long skirt ^_^

Back in 2006 my really close buddy created a Charity Guild called the Red Star Charity [all communism implications completely accidental :blush: ] & she appointed me her Vice Captain. We decided to give out Newsprint Stars to every single person who joined the guild blaugh
The Gold Pocketwatch is also an AWESOME item, I think. I nearly always add it to my avatar, it's like my avatar's "default accessory".
I'm a huge fan of the black & white striped stockings. I should have put those on my list. With most of the other striped stockings, they look kind of awkward to me. Although in TekTeks I feel that I use the red & white ones on other people's avatars quite often.
Legwarmers... totally one of the most classic, timeless commons of forever :3

I'm totally with you on the Demonic Anklets. I think, out of all the MCs that ain't uber-costly, Demonic Anklets are one of the best items to own. They're quite versitile... & just freakin' sweet! blaugh
As far as items to add to your wardrobe is concerned... I know it's kind of costly, but I really dig the way a Demonbow looks with the "open wing" pose of Demonic Anklets, like such --
It's really great for balancing out an avatar.
I also feel like Demonic Earmuffs can complement the "normal" pose of Demonic Anklets pretty nicely...

It does not stand out as much as the Kiseru's.....Which I adore!! I named my gold one Claudia. rofl Here are my Wardrobe essentials. -Neutral Starter Urban Girl Pants -Pocket Watches -both kinds- -Kiseru's -all 3- -Suspenders -Tavern Cinchers -Egyptian Linen Wrap -Black of Course- -Red and Black Class Socks -Soft Black Underware -I know you'll most likely never see them, but everyone need's undies- EDIT:: And put clothes on your Models! I bet they are FREEZING! xd

You gave me a Gold Pocket Watch like, some number of years ago!
... I still remember that! Largely because I love you, & largely because back when you gave it to me, I was pretty clueless when it came to making avatar's look good. Like, I always had that pink Girl's Fall hair that didn't match with anything rofl ... &, although I was never one to totally clutter my avatar with all those @#$&#xin;g plushie animals, I definitely overused them [one of the biggest avatar mistakes of all time!]
Gold Pocket Watches are now one of my absolute favourite items on Gaia, thanks to you!

I never change my avatar. So you can pretty much see those items I always wear. whee Dunno, I just have more important things to do on Gaia than playing dress up. My favourite item must be the Syaoran's goggles though...

Personally i love my dark mistress top and skirt. i find i use them a lot cause they go so well with my gothicy theme. i also find i can't use one without the other they go too well whee
on top of that i really love gothic veil and try and incorporate it into all my avatars even though it can be hard if i'm not going for such a gothic look (at which point i use ruffled ribbons pose)
only recently got it but i don't think i'm ever gonna have an avi without gimpi now i've got it. i love all the poses on that item. i kinda want to buy another two or three so i can get all the poses i want at once but i probably won't be able to afford that for a long time redface

Your list, naturally, I totally agreed with. Pocket Watches & Kiserus = NECESSITIES. We're totally on the same freakin' page about that, plain & simple heart
Demonic Anklets are one of my favourite MCs. I really like them, & they go well on so many avatars, since they're just plain black.
There are a few EIs I really like... Biancamella [particularly the gold swirls; they're perhaps the most versitile AND awesome EI pose], Urn, Jinxi, & I'm REALLY digging Gimpi.
However, many EIs seem to not match with anything, or just suck in general... Alruna's Rose is probably the main example of a popular EI that doesn't match with a @#$&#xin;g thing. I HATE Alruna's Rose. I hate Inari's Beads almost as much. I know that they're the most succesful EI, but... God... they don't match with anything. Plus, they just don't even look good at all.
Other EIs that I think are simple failures: Yama No Tamago, Kelp O' Th' Loch, White Drome Egg, Gro-Gain, Orindae, Pan-whateverwhatever Agate, Dionaesil, & probably more. I HATE the ones that turn into those giant freakin' ugly creatures!
