We play a lot of cards and listen to random music (ha, not the radio; we always ask for the radio to go away). Every time we go across railroad tracks, everyone has to touch a screw on the bus and everyone shouts "Screw!"
Some people sleep, which I've never understood . . .

A lot of times you hear about the disgusting stuff people did on the buses[[i wont elaborate, im pretty sure you can figure it out]]
That happened pretty often.
If you were in the back with the drumline you were typically forced to listen to them sing obnoxiously loud in your ear.
if you were towards the front your watching horror movies or talking sh!t. Sometimes we started rumors about someone in the back of the bus and saw how long it took them to hear about it. record time 32 minutes. =]

The Tuba section leader and the Bari section leader sing songs that make us all laugh while making them look like gay lovers.

Nobody ever really sang on our bus trips.
We had really long ones so we all just brought our MP3 players, laptops, DVD players, DS's/GB's/PSP's, and pretty much anything else that would keep us occupied.
They also showed movies on the TVs on the buses...

Ha well we don't have hand checks, but we should, lol esspescially the drumline.
Starting after band camp hormones are pretty much out of control for the rest of the season, so there's making out, and everything else. My mom asked me about this once, haha. She was grossed out, even though I never participate in "Intercourse Mondays" or anything else.
We have three buses and on mine we usually have ipod speakers, and candy, lots of candy the chaperones get so angry sometimes. We break out in song usually old Blink 182 stuff, Journey, Queen, Cascada haha.
We just laugh and are immature the whole time haha

Our tubas are MAD. O_O They bring an ipod player and play it full blast (they sit in the back) and they CHOREOGRAPH dances for songs LOL... But other than that our band directors tell us to chill before performances because he doesn't want us screwing around and doing something that could potentially mess with our performance... On the trip home, though, (other than the tubas) everyone sleeps xD

Hand checks sound like a good Idea. Especially for one particular group of people or two. You won't believe what happened last year on the bus.
Normally I'm on BUS B, cause its closer to P for PARTY!!! Normally woodwinds, drum majors very few colorguard and brass on the bus.
Last year we did this amazing prank call to BUS A. Funny what was said. "OMG! ITS ANGELINA JOLIE!!! MOTHER!!! Who is this? OMG BRAD PITTT???!!!"
LOL good times good times.
Aside from prank calling people, music, texting, movies, asking cha cha random questions for our entertainment...Blah.

i write songs in my spare time, so i ussually sing them on the long bus rides. Some people get up and start dancing even after people started yelling at them
everybody loves my songs too xd

We do many things....
1. See the current relashonships by who is sitting with whom.
2. Turn around at times and see people making out. (THAT WAS AN ACCIDENT!!!)
3. Play random games
4. watch family guy
5. A hell of a lot of hand checks.
6. Act sad because we aren't on the junior/senior bus (staff bus, yeah we love our staff)
7. Spy on the cute guys on the battery/guard bus. (they ARE the hot guys of the band... just drop the base line)
8. tell jokes
9. ROOKIE STORY TIME WITH JOE! (those were funny)
10. watch more family guy
11. . . . homework

eliangel Usually we just talk or sleep or play DS games. The best bus ride by far was to and from championships. On the way there our bus popped a tire, resulting in a two hour lunch break while a new bus was driven to us. Then we got to the comp, took first (state champions) in our division, and sang We Are the Champions at the top of our collective lungs followed by a very loud, sloppy rendition of our whole show. It was fun. Sounds a lot like what my band did when we won state. neutral

Purcision sits in the back hitting on girls and braging about what girls they've tapped (trust me, none of them have ever done it xp ) Then in the middle of the bus we have like 1/3 of our band playing DS games all linked to eachother (usually mario racing or something like that, I'm not a big gamer). Then you have those (this is my group most of the time) who are also in our school's JROTC program (basically the miltarty) that sit there and make everything perverted without even trying. And like every band bus there's those couples making out and junk. On the way home, we mostly stay to ourselves and sleep or listen to music (but this, for some unknow reason, is when our drum line seems to get most of their enrgy and start be retarted)
