I'm pretty sure Mello wouldn't mind expanding his repertoire. (or however you spell it) But... a world without L is a bleak world.

Hio Fukahi if it wasn't for L, there would be something SERIOUSLY wrong with Death Note. He's just too cute! 4laugh I have to agree with you about there would be something wrong with Death Note if L wasn't in the series, but not because L is cute. First off, he's not really cute. If you seriously met a man like L standing outside of your school and you didn't know about L at all, you would more than likely think it was a creepy rapist or something. Secondly, if L wasn't in the series, then Light would have no enemies; if there was no L to provoke him, then the series either would have been very boring since he had no challenging opposition, or it would just end with "Light is the ruler of the new world!". So it is good that L was in the series, because he is the needed contrast to Light's character to keep this series interesting. ♪ Boys & Girls ♪

Miouya if L wasint in death note who would you like? and why. if you feel like it i would like near but thank god that L is there i love him >.< Well it would be a sad sad thing if L weren't there but if he wasn't, then my fave character would be Light. He's all cool and insane. I find insane/strange characters very interesting...but that's just me...xDD
