When the door of the hallway first opened, and the scent of rain and Lycan assaulted Pan's nose, he flinched. But, it only took a second for him to place the species: a pard, large cat, probably arctic. And while a part of him primally pointed out that this was a predator species and he was prey, he was more than well trained enough to ignore it, and instead be relieved it wasn't one of the alpha-dogs strolling around, come to exercise his or her power.

Of course, with his one major distaste out of the way, Pan was happy to half-skip around the corner and towards the source of the scent. It was vaguely familiar, she was probably in one or two of his classes, but he hadn't made this scent one of the ones he recognized immediately.

"He-llo!" he called joyfully as he turned the corner and found himself facing the approaching form of a grey-haired, tailed young-looking girl.

Evelyn skidded to a stop, and if it weren't for the fact that she was a cat she would have certainly tripped and fell. Her nose crinkled as she smelt the boy in front of her. He was a rat? Well, she'd never met one of his kind before. She felt comfortable though with the fact that he was a Lycan.

"Hi," she replied in a cheerful tone. "You're a Lycan, right?" Evie questioned, holding back the urge to also ask if she was right about him being a rat. He probably was a certain type of rat anyway, and he'd probably get offended. Considering her curiosity and big mouth it was surprising she hadn't blurted out that question, but she didn't think about why she hadn't.

"What's your name?" She questioned once more. What better way to get rid of an urged question then by asking a different one? There was no better way, of course.

Pan grinned widely, showing off perfectly human teeth. With as much time as he spent half-transformed, his teeth should have been bucked at best, but buck-teeth tended to cause social problems, and every time they'd begun to get out of control, he'd had them orthodontically fixed. Luckily, he hadn't sprouted a tail without warning yet. Perhaps that was something reserved for people who voluntarily completed transformations.

"My name's Panya, call me Pan. And don't think I didn't notice that expression. I guess you've never met an Undergrounder before? Well, don't get any ideas, I'm not a rat. Just a harmless old lab mouse. Useless, completely. So, what do they call you, little kitten? And are why are you off to class this early?" Pan was gesturing wildly throughout his response, and when he was done, his fingers drifted up, to fiddle with his hair, until the girl replied.

The paper plate was discarded in to the short, brown, cheap trash can that was placed ever so cleverly beside her desk. It wasn't until after Kiala's tongue had cleared the already forgotten plate from the left over sauage juice that was still warm. It's amazing how one wouldn't never think of meat as being able to send shivers down one's back, but when it becomes hard to find you tend to cherish it a bit more than normal. Standing from her seat to face the chalk board. How old school, huh? With her body in front of the green chalk board she came to stand out. Dressed in all black.

Her pants were like silk, pinned stripped, one of the articles of clothing that pronounced how dominating Kiala wanted to be. Her shirt was white and traveled down the length of her arm until about an inch or two below the elbow. The white shirt was almost see through because of how light the material it was made out of was. Yet, still being a teacher, Kiala covered up with a pin stripped, black vest that had a low v formation on it and came to hug her hips. As for that clicking noise that was heard. Well, those would be her inch raised brand new, shiny, black leather shoes she decided to wear.

Picking up a piece of the white chalk, Kiala began to write what would be today's lesson and, for warning, tomorrow's as well. After covering half of the board and setting the white writing utensil down Kiala looked towards the door. Her hearing picking up the tiny youth voices. Jealous that Horatio was able to take today off. It was fine. Her two days off were coming soon. The least Kiala could do was put up with a few of the students that did make it to class until then.

Evie's tail swished a bit in excitement. "My name's Evelyn, but call me Evie." She blushed when he told her that he noticed her expression.

"No, I haven't ever met one... Useless?" Her ears perked with interest, "What makes you say that? No one is useless. Like.." Evie pondered how he was not useless. Her eyes lit up and her tail waved a bit more rapidly.

"You can get through small spaces!" She grinned, showing slightly pointed teeth. "I wish I could do that.." Her grin turned into a slight frown at his other question. "Well, I read the announcement that said classes were canceled, but then I realized it wasn't for my class.. So I kind of panicked and now I'm here."

"Better to get to Ms. Kay's class early anyway.." She mumbled to herself and then gave her full attention back to him. "What are you doing this early? Going to class too?"

"Nope!" He replied cheerfully, fingers still looping in and out of his hair. "Well, not immediately, anyway. I just sort of live in the halls and try to meet as many people as I possibly can. Eventually I go to class, but as a general rule, I'm late.

"At any rate, if you're with Kay, you're not with me. I mean, unless that's what you call Kiala. Of course, it's prolly not, because the woman is scary, and wolfie, and so most everyone calls her Ms McDowell, not Kiala. She'd probably eat me if she knew I had even said it this much." He giggled girlishly, then began to sing softly, "Kiala, kiala, kiaaaalaaaaa." He followed this up with an impromptu spin and a jazz pose.

"So, Ms Kay. Mmm. I don't think I know her, actually. What's she teach? What kind of Other folk is she?" he asked, fully prepared to ignore any response to the term otherfolk. Plenty of the people he'd met treated it like a curse, something rude and awful. But, Pan had grown up around and among humans. It wasn't derogatory in their eyes, and so, it wasn't derogatory in his. And to hell with the rest of 'em.

Anyone that had ever been to school knew this; no two classrooms ever looked alike, the all reflected the teacher in some way. This one room was
rather peculiar. Almost every surface was covered in dark wood, the desks were slightly larger than in other classes and the very air carried a bittersweet scent that the more sensitive students were able to taste, something akin to lemon and honey.

Tables were pushed against the walls, creating an almost continuous work surface that only offered truce to the floor-to-ceiling windows. Each table had it's own assortment of herbs and roots meticulously arranged on trays, two wooden boxes and a heavy book.

"It's raining, I couldn't ask for a better day to start classes."

The teacher's voice was slightly melodic, cheerful even as she talked to Selene. The cat had found her favorite spot,on top of the ebony desk, next to the window. She rested her head on a book, her sky-blue eyes fixed on Momo as she paced around the room, making sure everything was perfect.

The siamese lifted her head when the elf set a vase with exactly twenty-three poppies next to her. Momo snickered. "Now, now, don't get me started with that. You have your spot by the window and your dead moons, let me have my silly superstitions." Selene huffed, her ears flat against her head as she laid her head back down.

"Thank you."

The first echoes of voices reached her then. She glanced at the wooden clock over the door. "Almost time."

Putting the white chalk back on to the lip of the board. Keen hearing was allowing to over hear the conversation taking place in the hall. Such silly kids. Didn't they realize that sound wouldn't die in such an open space? Instead, the conversation traveled all the way down in to the biology room with hardly any desks.

Stepping away from the board, the black shoes clicked their way, heading towards the door that was an entrance and an exit from her class room. Gazing down the hallway to spot two of the students lolly-gagging their way to class. With her back resting against the door's frame a frown to her face. Arms came to cross over the woman's chest in a disappointed fashion. If it hadn't been the first day of school, Kiala wouldn't have given them a warning, but since it was; it wasn't their fault that they didn't know any better.

A light growl rumbled from the base of Kiala's throat. A student has no right to call a teacher by their first name. When the boy's scent flooded her nose, it made Kiala's hair come to stand. A mouse. She knew that scent all too well. "It's Ms. McDowell. If you're on time you're late. I expect since you're so talkative, you can give an oral presentation tomorrow over the chapter that we will be going over today." Her voice was loud, proclaiming her hierarchy in this school system. Her position above the student body.

With her warning given, Kiala returned back to her room, walls decorated with posters that showed the different anatomies of various creatures. A Few wild flowers on the book shelf came a bit more color to the room, other than the different shades of red from the posters.

Of course, Pan had known full and well that Kiala would almost certainly have overheard him. He wasn't stupid. Any silly little witchkin could have overheard him. He just grinned as the teacher gave her short lived tirade, and logged the punishment and/or assignment in the back of his mind. There was nothing more fun that showing up the Wolfies, in his personal opinion.

It didn't matter that Miss Kiala had obviously not recognized him. Biology was one of the few thing Pan excelled at. It was important to know, if your second life was as a lab experiment, after all. He would be more than happy to present, and do so astoundingly well. All Pan's other teachers, after all, would have let his out-of-class insanity slip.

"Poor Kiala." he continued, whispering directly into the girl's ear so quietly that no, not even a fellow Lycan would hear it from more than a few feet away, after the teacher had returned to her room. "All stodgy about her life. 'S cause of the Pack mentality. She prolly always wanted to be an alpha her whole life, and when she couldn't cut it in the real world, she came to Alpha over us babies. Just because I can, I'm going to be late to class anyway. She hates when people ignore her authority."

He straightened abruptly and let his vocal volume return to normal. "And that same mindset is why we, and by we I mean Pards and Undergrounders, are better than most anyone else. Any questions?"

Evelyn wouldn't give up a nice warm bed for anything, well, almost anything, she was never late to class, and she was a leopard; A cat, cats killed rodents, but for some reason, Evie liked this boy. Maybe it was because he seemed really friendly, or he was cute but, for whatever reason there was, Evie wanted to be his friend.

A giggle passed her lips when Pan spoke Ms. Kay's first name. "She teaches Biology, and she's a werewolf." Evie answered his questions with another ecstatic wave of her tail. She hoped she would get to talk to Pan more. Before she could open her mouth to ask him a question a low growl was heard behind her and Evie spun around.

Evie's ears immediately flattened on top of her head and her tail stop moving. Sure it was Pan that Ms. Kay was mad at, but her voice and full outer appearance was quite intimidating. But the teacher left soon after speaking and Evie felt her bubbly attitude come right back to the surface.

Her tail began to swish once more as Pan whispered in her ear; Pack mentality. She knew about that well enough. Evie had never been of high rank in the pack she was in at all, but she had been no beta either. After his whispering Evie giggled at what he said in his normal tone.

"Pards are better too, huh? Shouldn't you hate us big kitties?" Evie stuck out her tongue playfully. She was glad Pan could talk to her even though their races were pretty much enemies.

((Uuuuughhh!! I have sooo much homework!!
I'm gonna try to put out a good post, though :3 I have a good amount of time to work on it, so I can take a few minutes to post.

Anyway!!
It's very nice to meet you all! <3
I hope we'll have lots of fun roleplaying together!
Please regard me kindly ~<3]]

Miya stood outside, bundled up in a dark-blue peacoat and blue-and-purple scarf, palms up, smiling into the sky as rain poured down on her. The small witches' eyes were closed and she was content, feeling cleansed by it's cool caress. She hadn't been up for very long yet, always having been a poor morning person. She loved sleeping and usually didn't like waking up when she wasn't ready. She did, today though, for the rain. Miya's vibrant purple locks looked slightly matted with moisture, and clung to the sides of her face.

She sighed softly, thinking that class was probably getting ready to start, and that she was only a stone's throw away from her dormitory, but a bit further from her first class. The witch yelped suddenly, realizing she wasn't even sure where she should be going for this first class, and spun about, trying to pinpoint what would be the best direction to travel to find where she needed to be. She started off in one direction, getting under the over-hang this time, shielding her petite frame from the onslaught of watery droplets.

After a few minutes of wandering, she came upon some people talking. She stopped, shyly hiding behind the corner she'd just came around, hoping they hadn't seen her yet. It wasn't that Miya was untrusting of people, she was just shy, and uncertain if she wanted to confront them. She took a deep breath, quietly walking towards them, stopping about a foot or two from where the pair stood. She shifted nervously from one foot to another. "Um..." She said softly, unsure of what else to say to claim the attention of the two conversing Otherfolk.

((I'm sorry for kind of intruding on the conversation that Pan and Evie were having... If you'd rather, I can edit this so that Miya goes to one of the classrooms instead. <33

That might wind up being the better choice anyway, since the teachers are sort of RPing alone right now X3))

{{Sorry all! I've been busy mid-terming.}}

"Now, now. I never said I liked the kittens, buuut," Pan replied, his voice still vaguely sing-song, "You're a level up from good ole psycho wolves, now aren't'cha?" He gave a little bounce and patted the Pard's head twice. "Not quite so prone to fits of anger for no reason.

"But alas, still rpone to the pack. Or the Pride, or whatever you all call it. I, myself, am free from listening and instinctively obeying anything. Unless, of course, it's got claws to my spine and it's ready to tear. I listen to what I want, when I want." He stuck his tongue out with a wink, and before the poor catling had even a chance to react, he'd licked her face.

"See, you'd never have done that to someone who outranks you without permission, would you?" Pan asked, rhetorically of course. He already knew the answer. Before he could continue his teasing, though, the footsteps he'd been hearing for the last few moments stopped, very close by, and someone more human than he- a witch girl by the scent- cleared their throat.

He spun faster than strictly necessary, partially to make the new arrival nervous, and partly because every additional person to talk to him always seemed to lead to his being exponential more bouncy than he had been the moment before.

His first response, however, was not to actually say hello, or do anything reasonable like that. Instead, he snatched the hat off the poor girls head without so much as a warning twitch and dropped it on his own.

"Are they seriously making you guys wear these things again, like the bunch of administrative bastards they are, or do you just do it for fun?" He asked, motioning towards the black, conical cap contrasting sharply with his hair. "And before you answer that, what's your name, hun?"

((It's alright! <33 Gad to have you back :]))

Miya jumped when the boy spun on her, and blinked up at him, blushing lightly. 'What a beautiful boy....' She was about to say hello when he pulled her rain-dampened hat right from her head, and plopped it onto his own. "Ahh--" She said softly, reaching her hand out as if to try and get it back, but quickly retracting it from the short distance it had moved as a warm blush flooded over her pale face.

"U-Um..." She began shyly, when he spoke, but not getting the chance to say anything more before he asked her name. "Oh, um, I'm Miya Halloway!" She smiled shyly and pulled the back of her jacket out slightly in a curtsy. She wasn't really sure how to answer his question about the hat, though. "And um, well I do like that hat... I'm not sure if I'm supposed to wear it or not... I just transferred here and I didn't know what the uniform was." She fidgeted nervously, unsure if she would be in trouble for not wearing the uniform, should there be one.
