I'm inclined to agree; it seems that more effort is being put into the evolving items than the MCs these days. That being said, I usually manage to make fair use of what they come out with, and I don't mind spending a few dollars (less than the price of a Starbucks coffee for one envelope) a month to help support the site.

It' true, the MC items are too whoomp whoomp boring. It seems like all gaia is doing is trying to get us to spend lots of money with all the evolving items and that is no buenos (that's not spanish)

No, no. That's quite all right. I do enough of that on other message boards.

I was really hoping my birth month (August) would come through but it reeked. See, this is exactly why I feel like some of these EIs need to be MIs. I still don't see the point of the cash shop when it comes to certain items. It seems like more energy is being put into the EIs. I don't think I've been that excited about an MI since....uh..wow I can't even remember. eek They just don't pop anymore. I love this site to death but the recent MIs just don't boil my potato!

I think part of the allure of the "classic" MCs was the multitude of poses-- particularly ones that worked together. Example: Elegant veil-- it took a couple of them to look absolutely stunning!

This month it was "glow-y hand" "return of the glow-y hand" and "glow-y hand strikes back" --- Yawn.

What bugs me too is that evolving items are unpredictable-- on top of being more expensive than the MCs in many cases. Will this feather/bottle/egg thingy turn into a delight, or will I wind up with a cape not much cooler than a quest item?

It made me mad to see Gwee was on the marketplace for about the same price as a September 08 letter-- that is so, soooo wrong.

What bugs me about the evolving items more than half of them are not even that good, and it's expensive, it's true they are very unpredictable you might thing it will be something nice, and it just seems like a crappy MC mad mad scream
