Hmm... A friend of my sis introduced it to us... My sis was the first to like reading mangas and I followed since I just sorta...fell in love with the drawings.. ^^
And the anime? Hhmm.. In the Philippines, the anime I've watched were Tagalog ones... But anyway, I think I've liked anime for a long time now... Manga was still a bit recent.

Actually I watched Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball, and Pokemon when I was younger, but I did not know it was anime, until my friend wanted me to watch Fruits Basket with her a few years ago, and it has been my favorite ever since. Around that time is when I realized I used to watch anime all the time when I watched Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball, and Pokemon every morning and afternoon, lol... I watch most of mine online, but I own almost all of Fruits Basket, and own some of others, but I still watch some online smile

I first got into anime a few years back, id be up late like every nite nd thered be nothing on tv, so i started watching InuYasha on Adult swim, and from there i checked out the mangas and soforth here i am, a complete maniac!

Just for an Update
I own all of Fruits Basket now, and I am excited smile
I am not near to completing any of the other anime/mangas I am collecting, but now that I finished collecting for one, I can continue on the others smile

I watched Pokemon as a small, naiive child. Then my brother was like "hey look what i found! and he showed me Haibane Remeni (AWESOME anime XDDDD) and I was hooked. My friends didn't help my anime/manga addiction either...... XD

i got in anime whhen i was at the age of 9 as i was gettingg badly bullied at shcoool and my mum was trying to find something i could do anythig thatwould make fel a lil better and she found a 'how to draw manga' book for me...so learnt to draw itoking up moviess and carttons so my mum found here self spending hundreds a week on a new movie for me and the munchies to go with it and noiw im 16 and i go to a anime club at school and we watch anime on you tube in what ever language ... i mainly watch them in japanese or english

*hums sailor moon theme*
i used to watch pokemon and sailor moon. pokemon started age 8 when they first came out. i was one of the lucky ones who got 2 of 4 plushies at kfc. ^__^ dratini and zubat.

good ol' Toonami got me into anime. my first 3 animes from Toonami were Sailor Moon, Dragonball Z, and Tenchi Muyo. i would hurry home after school and catch the last bit of Sailor Moon and then watch the other 2 after. this was when i was in elementary school.

hhmm.... it was more of a self discovery.... my first anime was .. i think either "saber marrionette" or "cooking master boy".. i was 4 years old at that time, but i was already watching tv since i was 2. so i have more than 10 years of anime experience... lolz.. haha...

it started with anime they show on tv but i really got hooked on cardcaptor sakura when i was young^_^
and currently, tsubasa chronicle tops 3rd on my fave anime list^_^

I really don't know when but it was a pretty long time ago. When I was in elementary school and my brother came back for a visit during break and he brought along a bag of anime shows. I didn't know of anime at all. I only liked one show though the whole case was full of anime. The first anime I watch was Rurouni Kenshin. It was good then later my cousin told me of another anime called Mermaid Forest and I liked that one too. Then she said that it was called anime and I just kinda got hooked on anime and manga from there on. Though I learn the existence of manga from my friend from school..^^
