Smoker's cough, I had a nasty one last year, I thought I was going to die from it, it is why I slowly withdraw from smoking.
But that's a good sign. I know it's difficult, but keep it up. It's all worth it for a healthier new you. biggrin

You can do it, Buick! It's definitely a hard thing to do, not only because of the addiction, but because of the social smoker culture. Everyone has setbacks, just stick to it as best you can. It seems like you're doing really, really well!

well, the past two days have went pretty well, despite the cravings and massive amounts of stress. i believe that the first week is the hardest, yet i still won't allow myself to get cocky. i don't want to end up falling on my face when i least expect it.

Good luck, I was a smoker for five years and when I quite it was a nightmare but trust me the first three days are the hardest after that it's virtually clear sailing.

woah... so i haven't updated you guys in awhile. despite the stress i've been under due to my personal life, i haven't cheated much. a couple puffs here and there, but nothing major. it's now been four weeks since i started this epic battle between me and my cigarettes. i've stepped down to the 14 mg per day patch. two weeks of this one then i'll drop down to the 7mg a day patch. so it seems that 4 more weeks and i'll be completely smoke free.
