yeah its happening to me too, at first all i liked was pretty new stuff, i still like it but then my faves went to Ozzy, who i hated for a long time due to misconceptions people told me, maiden, priest, dio.

I can pretty much only say that about the electronic music that I listen to. If it's not primitive industrial or noise, I usually stay away from it.
As for non-electronic music, not much has changed.

I tend to listen to different bands depending on my mood at the time, so I switch between heavy and loud, fun and weird, deep and soft, and creepy and rhythmic a lot.
