Me and my friends here on Gaia (Lemmylinks & SirSka) are all very competitive but there are simply no tourneys going on in or around the state of Louisiana....like this place is dead or somethin.

I am very competitive, no one i know can beat me and i'm starting to think no one can. I'm always looking for a challenger.

Seriously, just go to smashboards.com if you're looking for people to smash with.
Start a thread in the appropriate forum in regional discussion if one doesn't already exist in your area, you'd be suprised how well it can work out sometimes.
Yeah, I'm a competitive player.
@Eletro: Go to FC6 and play SephirothKen, and unless Ken is distracted by naked sado-machoistic women with whips, I doubt you'll win.
But at least be cosoled by the fact that you got to play the world's no. 1 player.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to get bashed for this, but oh well stupid bashers.
This is a very dumb topic to put up in a guild about a FIGHTING game. I don't think we play it to look at the characters for an extended amount of time. Of course we're competitive! It's Nintendo's All-Stars DUKING IT OUT!

...In my own opinion and terms, when the word "competitive" comes into play, especially with a complex and strategic game such as SSBM itself, it depends on how would define thw word competitive. neutral
For the vets, like me, I would define competitive as a an average-decent person that knows most of the essentials, and is somewhat hard to predict. Knows slightly about more "advanced" techniques that ordinary people would NOT know about, such as Wave Dashing. The ability to predict, counter, and evade at the right time, and MOST of the time, this certain player can beat Level 9 opponent(s) MOST of the time, as in 70%. So yes, I am competitive if you're talking about at THAT level. I've did Wave Dash as well, but I only executed that tech 10 times or so. It's hard, one needs to practice to use it. ;[
If not, then I guess I'm not, now am I? neutral

But yeah its pretty obvious that about every person in this guild is competitive.

Alright Mr Shiek Master....If your so good then name atleast 5 things you can do during a dash then. Come on all Sheiks I know know what they are able to do during a dash. twisted
Oh and umm....ALL YOU NEWB STOP USING SHIEK MY GOD I HAVENT SEEN THIS MANY PEOPLE USING THE TOP TIER BEFORE!!! Sigh....And as I can see no Ganondorf users....Or Link Users.....IM ASHAMED crying
