Kadance I'm sorry, but I have to say this. My boyfriend marches with Spirit and he would absolutely flip out if he saw the words "DCI" and "BAND" used together. I really don't mean to be rude, and if I came off that way, I sincerely appologize because that is the last thing that I want to do at this point. But the DCI "bands" aren't "bands" at all. They are corps. Bands generally involve woodwinds wheras corps are all drums, brass, and guard. You probably already knew this though, after all you must have some knowledge of drum corps to post this topic. Again, I sincerely appologize if I came off on the wrong note. Please forgive me. He's not the only one who freaks when people call drum corps, marching band. I totally flip too. Andddddddd I got Phantom Regiment. PR probably because they're so frigen sweet. @ Furishikiru - Frameworks is probably one of my favourite shows, it's between Frameworks and Harmonic Journey.

all of you guys seriously ahave to come see Troopers this year. We have 32 shows or so so you have no reason to not see us. Our show this year is gonna be sick~ blaugh

I got the Santa Clara Vanguard. I couldn't march drum corp if I wanted, I a flute and I'd stay a woodwind even if I switched instuments. Our old assistant band director/ drill instuctor used to be in the Blue Devils though. Sadly he's getting married and moving to Canada. cry
Mr. E shuves DCI dvd's down our throught all the time. I've seen all the 2002 shows at least 3 times. whee I love watching them though.

It said I was part of SCV. That would be nice but this year I'm gonna be with the return of VK to the field. If you don't know about them just watch the 1992 DCI champs

i got cavvies! heart woohoo they are my favorite. however, seeing as how i am not male, i could not be in this corps. i might try try out for crossmen if i do join a corps. i play mello, btw.
