I agree Obama should win and I don't agree with all of his plans either but i believe it will do alot of good just to get Bush out of office and maybe people could actually go back to having a decent lifestyle and not have to pay 4 dollar for 1 gallon of gas. and I am so very happy cause this will be my first election to be able to vote in.

The president has no control over how much we have to pay for gas. Even if the next president has a plan for how to get gas prices down it'll probably take years to go into effect. Gas prices aren't gonna drop from one day to another its gonna take time. It takes more effort to drop prices than to raise them. There's a reason gas prices rose so fast, because that's easy.

Well I think the Bush is going to do something stupid to mess up the election so that he can be president for another four years.

Again he can't do that, its impossible. It would be unconstitutional. No matter what happens, no matter what Bush does, he is out of office at the end of the year. Even if he wanted, he can't stay in office, he's done.

At this point I'm on the fence on who I want to vote for. Because I realized all I know about Obama is that he wants change. And my friend keeps telling me McCain does not have really Republican views. So, I really need to do some research on how they feel about the issues. Then, I will tell you.

uhm i may be a little young to vote lol but i was currently listening to one of Obama's speeches and one of his wife's speeches and i loved them both and i know people say that we arent ready for a black president but idk y people care about the race if makes a change for our country thats what matters and we need to bring our boys home from war we already know tht there is no weapon of mast destruction and we need to come back and i know USA is all about freedom but now we are fighting for some1 elses freedom? whats the point of feeling accomplished and free if some1 else fights for you it isnt the same.. redface

I'm leaning towards McCain now.

I am finding that both are becoming more and more unappealing to me. Neither of them promise the change which is appealing to me. I lean more towards Obama but he does not impress me so much.

It doesn't matter who you vote for, you you know that.

In 2000, it was made very clear that regardless of who we elect, the powers that be, whatever clandestine group of alphas who have beaten most of us down will decide by themselves. George Bush was handed the presidency in 2000, having been appointed and not elected, so what makes any of you think that McCain won't just get appointed to.

The only way for there to be change in America is violent uprising of those most hurt by the policies of the APPOINTED president of the last eight years (the poor et al), and all of you know that.

Hehehe the skull and bones society truly determines the president lol and makes Florida votes disappear...
Every vote doesn't count because we use the electoral college system, its about winning the big states, and living in a small state my vote counts for even less then anyone could notice..

Sorry, but Kerry lost the election fair and square. He was a shitty candidate who lost to a shitty president. Yes the first term is/was shaky, but god damn it if the Dems didn't ******** up their chance last time.

McCain doesn't have the backing of mainstream conservatives as nobody in Congress likes him, and his father didn't appoint any justices. You all talk like he is buddy-buddy with Bush. Remember the "b*****d black child" rumor going around?

The system is damaged, not broken. Your negativity only makes it worse.

I used to not know who I wanted to win. I'm a little iffy on both... I'm strongly pro-choice, but that's just one issue. Then Palin entered the picture. Governor for two years of Alaska. Huh. I dunno, I was nervous about her, but I didn't hate her.

Well, now I absolutely want Obama to win. The reason is, now I have seen Palin in action and I didn't like the action at all. Liking someone as a candidate just because of their personality is idiotic. You have to take in other things, such as whether or not they will cause our country to fall apart. That's kind of important too! Just a little, I know.

I don't get it, we need a person who knows how to fix a country domestically. Palin is great for that! Her two years as a governor were great and are equivalent to Obama's years in the senate. She isn't on a mission like McCain, Obama, or Biden, and know how to run an executive office. She may be right minded, but she will attack anyone who she thinks needs to be attacked. As a Washington outsider she doesn't have any of the pals Obama, McCain, or Biden have. Just because she speaks differently then us she is Idiotic? I don't see this idiocy in her record at all. All I see is a very competent and hard working executive who fights corruption and excess.

I'm getting really sick and tired of people saying Obama is playing the race card to win this election. He's NOT, if anyone is playing the race card its everyone else (and I don't mean the other candidates) If people are using his race as a reason to get him elected that's what they're doing not what he's doing. ******** stop blaming Obama for the actions of other people, in the media, on the internet or whatever he has no ******** control over them!!
