Milk the Strange I wish that Spike from Cowboy Bebop didn't die. crying If he didn't, the series wouldn't end correctly. It was a good ending, I think.

Naruto: -Jiraiya -Itachi -Deidara -Haku -Sasori Inuyasha: -Kikyo (BOTH TIMES) -Kagura Death Note: -L (Let's face it, for some of us, he was the ONLY reason we read Death Note) -Mello (I miss choclate boy crying ) And, ironically, I don't even like Inuyasha or Death Note (but I have read them), And am getting sick of Naruto (Blame Sasuke-Sue) Kagura dies? Ah, nuts. She was one of my favorites! crying

I never really cared if a character died or not
I mean, I got a little sad if I liked that character
But nothing big
....Until Death Note
L's death brought tears to my eyes
And I really wish Mello and Matt didn't die
Especially the way they did
It really killed me inside
And yeah purplenekomata, at first L was the only reason I watched Death Note
Until he died and I just had to see Kira die
And then Mello got thrown in there

I skipped to the end of the series just to watch Light die. I didn't care about the others. Mello had nothing to do with L dying, so what was he to me? xp So I watched Light die and laughed. twisted

Oh no, I liked Mello because... Well he's just kick a** in my opinion
And he likes chocolate
Plus, he was second in line to become the next L so...
I actually probably would have skipped to the end if I hadn't taken the time to learn so much about Near, Mello, and Matt
...Damn yaoi and Mello's sexiness..
You know how Kira laughs when he kills someone, all evil like
..Yeah, I did that when he died
In my opinion, Light died a long time before the series ended
Light was an honest and bright student before he found the Death Note and Kira took him over with power
Just what I think though

How can no one mourn the death of the faceless people who no one really cares about? They get slack from no one in any series, if they are not killed by the villians than they are killed by the heros.
Also, that one guy from that one anime. The cool guy. You know the one. The one guy who got about one scene and looked badass in it. I think his name was Matt.

If your talking about in Death Note,
The guy who got shot down after the kidnapping,
Yeah that was Matt
And I do mourn him
More for my own reasons
They showed him a little more in the manga
But he still wasn't a big character
I think he should have been in there more personally

L needed to die or the series would get stale quickly. Mello and Light were too arrogant and needed to die for that reason, Near should have died for the same reason. They should have let Light write his name.

from mangas i didn't want night from absoulte boyfriend to "die" and takaomi from dream saga but it turns out he only died in the dream world where hes the cutest crying

Don't you guys realize that all of the people you say who shouldn't die progress the story or bring the story to a close?
If Death Note went any longer it would get annoying and stupid. It wouldn't be Death Note. It'd be another damned manga about death and nothing more.
Hell. It should have ended when L died. You know why?
Because it would have ended with Light making the police run around in circles making him look awesome.
But they didn't end there. So they went on and killed him off.
Sometimes, yes, it's just for drama. Sometimes, it's because NOBODY LIKED THEM AT THE TIME.
SPIKE?! SPIKE?! are you freakin' kidding me?!
He practically WENT THERE for the main purpose of dying! Pay ******** attention to your anime.
And people who say that Mello shouldn't have died are silly, I believe. He explodes! How is that not a cool way to die?
And besides. He's a douche.
Edward Elric in FMA though...just made the anime way too confusing and annoying.

Oh I know why people die. Well except Meer in Seed Destiny, her death did nothing to help the story and actually hurt the story. Why? Because they decided to do a mainly clip show dedicated to her after her death that caused the final story arc to be even more rushed.
