That's a good idea, but the problem would be how much gold. If I wanted to do it by how old they were, then I'd have to have everyone's ages written down too, & some people don't want others to know how old they are. I thought about giving them 100 gold for every birthday they have while being in the guild (so this year, they get 100, next, they get 200), but that would be too hard to keep track of, especially when we start getting more members. Most people won't take a small amount, like just 100 gold, because they think it's too small, so they'd probably make multiple accounts to get more gold, & while that's fine & helps the guild, it costs me a LOT of gold.
I don't know, I'm running out of options, & I think that they might just have to deal with a couple hundred gold or so... Even if it does run me dry...

Maybe that's a good thing. That way, nothing can take the spotlight off of your birthday. If it was the New Year's day (or something celebrated everywhere), people would first think of the holiday and then of your birthday when they'd hear the date.
By the way, it's not celebrated where I live, either.
