UGH I can't stand John Edwards. I hope he pulls Obama down. Obama is talking like Clinton is already out... Last check she had more super delegates than him, and I'm really hoping she pulls through and beats him.

I thought that Obama now has the lead with superdelegates and everything else! I was kind of hoping that Hilary would win. She has been in the White House for 8 years, so she is already familiar with how to run things. Also, the whole Obama s the antichrist kind of freaks me out. I hope that he really is a good guy and not the antichrist. They say that he will come promising peace but bringing war.

well you also have to look at the end of the world thing to a little differently. The Mayans believed that time was eternal and it went in a circle. Many justify that the reason the world will end is because the Mayans calender stopped at 2012. Thats not true. There calender goes in a circle, Meaning time goes on and repeats itself after that specific date. Also many believe the end will come in 2012 because of many predictions of death and destruction, which can be taken as metaphors in prophecies as a great change or rebirth of our surroundings and selves. You never know when technology goes in 2012, magic might be stronger then it was before and we might be able to fly, lol.

I hope that you are right. I wold love to fly! xd But, I am still worried about technology getting fried with the shift in the Earth's magnetic poles. Somehow, I just have a feeling that Obama is going to become the next president. Then again, the rest of the world doesn't think too highly of us anyway. I plan to immigrate shortly after graduation if possible.

yeah I have no clue whose going to win, I'm just rooting for Hillary. The chances that Obama will win is slim any how. There hasn't been a democrat elected president in the past something like 100 years that hasn't won Ohio/ Obamma thank goodness, voted for Hillary. It must be because the state has a high concentration of scientists and general work force. Theres really not alot of colleges around here. Hillary mostly stands up for the lower and middle class citezens. Which is what we have more of. Obamma stands for the upper class and younger generation. because I think anyways, its just my opinion. That there easier to manipulate. And chibi for the love of all that is precious, please check out the contest thread.

XD... I will share a small part of my dream now because you guys are talking so much about 2012.
Basically near the end -- I and 13 other people realized we had the ability to fly. Which actually helped in the situation we were all in [what with all the fire, fighting, and etc) -- and well the end of the dream involved a giant "sword" of light coming down and striking the earth and creating huge rifts/breaks on the surface. It got bright to the point everything turned white and the dream ends there with me waking up -- yep!
I might share more, but haha ^_^;; it's a bit ridiculous to listen to so yeah... maybe in private.

Chibi What country are you trying to migrate to? Lately a lot of countries are beginning to restrict the amount of Americans that they will allow to get visas. And in middle eastern countries you can't even say you're American. I had a friend who was a duel citizen, Us and Egypt and when she took a job in Iraq she was told she had to just use her Egyptian passport.

There is actually a program that was advertised at my college about sending teachers to Japan to teach English in primary and secondary schools. I am very tempted to go. I also wouldn't mind going back to England, but I don't know what I would do about employment there... sweatdrop I have a good friend who graduated with a BA in History who is now teaching English at an university in China. She isn't just an assistant either! I think that I should also mention that she began teaching the fall after her graduation. I think that my prospects look good if I want to teach English. However, I am just afraid of getting homesick.

A friend of mine who is a linguist did a teaching gig over in japan last year. He was working as an english teacher while going to school, and he absolutely loved it. By his description of life over there, it's very VERY different, but awesome. You just have to get used to sharing every square inch with millions of other people. And apparently their general pace of life is WAY faster. Everyone is constantly rushing somewhere. I think he lost 30 lbs living over there. eek But he loved it. I think he has plans of moving over there permanently if he can. Which I'm totally fine with, since I'll have somewhere to crash if I ever go to visit. rofl

I'm looking into the oxford seminars that train teachers. I have a pal who is going back to china to teach english to children and she's never been to college... It might be fun to go to africa to teach.

That's awesome. I had another friend online who was working as an English teacher in Germany. It seems like something that is becoming more and more popular. I was just thinking about how many language teachers I've had that were from the country in question. And out of... 3 of them, they've all been American.
Eep! Is this the beginning of the homogenization of language? eek

For some odd reason, right now, I just want to move to England. I went there two years ago for two weeks and I fell in love with the country. I yearn to live in a place where I don't have to own a car.

Does anyone know when the results will be decided? I am not very familiar with the dates. What states are left and when will all of the super delegates release their vote? Everyone pretty much knows that Obama will win, but I still am hoping that there is a chance for Hilary. I also just want to know when things are final.

In reality the Democratic National Caucus is going to be sorting this one out for a while. Because Florida and Michigan's votes in their primary's are being decided on. It's going to be a tight race. I just don't think I will be able to make myself vote if Hillary is not a candidate. I just do not like Obama or McCain enough to trust them with running the country. McCain is too old, and Obama is not experienced enough. McCain could be the first president we have had in a long time die in office because of natural causes or health complications.
